R Owners, how much did you pay for yours?

I hear you vast, I'm just saving up right now and waiting for the promotional .99% financing. I think it might come in April.

Mark is just a "fancy" TROLL; i dont mind him bc he's nothing really but a little bitter man crapping on this forum, but it is HIS RIGHT to act that way.....njoy and/or ignore...

edit: and if u think Mark really loved his HP4, then why would he b trolling here ¿ ¿ ¿ clearly he wants another Pani...

Maybe its because he still owns an 1199? .......

Haha, I totally forgot about this post. I found a dealership near me Cycles 128 who has a 2013 R on the floor. They are willing to sell $27,800 OTD. Because I told them about seacoast, and they want to earn my business. Another dealership in Derry NH: Seacoast sport cycles has a 2014 R for $30,999 MSRP but they are giving 10% in store credit so you get $3100 in store credit for parts and accessories.

That's what I found in my neck of the woods. I'm still saving for a large down payment on the R, but in the meantime I kinda want to see what "fixes" they have for 2015 R. If they have the .99% financing promo again, I'll pick one up tomorrow. :)

27,8K OTD for a new R? Hmmmm.

well maybe he wants to ride it or maybe he wants to sell it or maybe we wants to keep on trolling ....and easy calling names pal: bold on the forums huh ¿ ¿

oh wait....ignore...LOL!

Well just have to buy a HP4 instead. Lucky I read this. :p

Wow wow??? What engine issues ? I'm on this forum day and night been riding the life out of my bike what problems VAST I'm getting nervous ?

i guess i need to search...apologies didnt mean to make anyone nervous...i just remember reading on this forum about some engine problem with a 2013 R and thinking to myself that consequently i'd only consider the 2014...i'll try and search here tonight......

You may have read about an oil-pump failure and that it was redesigned on later models.

it's not all about the bottom end figure and if you go with a shop just because they are a few dollars cheaper i think you are making a mistake as having a good dealer who you have a relationship with certainly saves you money in the long run.

Looking at the list you have gone through i have dealt with seacoast cycles on numerous occasions and they are really top notch and very much on top of their game they also have one of the best techs in the country with Kyle Thompson.

this may be it! thx much Xbox.... (if memory serves me, a 2013R blew up bc of this ¿ ¿ ¿)

I bought mine used... a 2013, 2,800 miles. Race exhaust installed, all the original parts, plus a DP reverse GP shifter, $24k

I bought a 14 brand new... 33k OTD...included a $750 Dianese jacket and the installation of the termis. Taxes alone are around 3k on this bike.. how are people getting sub 30k OTD is beyond me and I don't think there is that much room from sticker to invoice in these bikes. You'd have to get the bike for 27k which is about 4k less than sticker.

Yeah I live in Salem NH and most likely will buy from Seacoast. Those guys are top notch! Very helpful, does a lot of charity work with local communities. Yes Kyle Thompson, he's is the man! I can't say enough good things about the dealership. Anyways, I thought I'd post for future potential buyers in the area.

Agree completely.
I followed Kyle to Seacoast from BCM and drive from near Ottawa, around 8 hours each way, to have him work on my machine. He has been doing this since 97. Permission to be in the shop, as was the case at BCM, is worth a lot.

So annoying what we have to pay here in comparison. the base model in Ireland is €24000 - which is over $30k dollars. The R retails at €38k (just over $50,000!).

It would be nearly worth the hassle of taking a holiday and shipping back

Or you can wire me the money, i'll buy it and ship it to you
