So I am ready to order, but I can't decide which one to order. The bike is a 14 s model with the SSTK long header. It is used on the street but I do track days as well. Help? It is worth the extra 300 for ignition?

I have the race and love it. The race is expandable to RapidBike's adjustable TC and QS, should you ever want to try those features. I would say that unless you plan on doing motor mods (head gasket, compression, etc.) and also want to have pit lane speed and dual maps (rain/race gas, etc.) then the Evo may be fine for most needs.

I may convert my 1199 to track only and do motor mods in a couple years so I went with the Race module. Plus, with buying a replacement harness and changing the firmware allows you to take your RapidBike module with you your next bike, I went whole hog and am satisfied.

Man, when are you coming out to play on the track Jeff? Nov 1/2 with Southern track days? All the guys are coming to that one.

Give Yaman a call at rapidbike . Great guy to talk to. He should set you on the right path. I have the race version myself..

Go for the Race version as it is more versatile. I have the PCV with autotune and will add the ignition module (just released) soon for the same reason. The Dragon Lady will soon see some engine modifications over and above the exhaust mods and the ignition advance will then be needed even more than now.

Hi any modifications to the bike to install the SSTK long header.

Sps you need to run a manual fan switch if you plan to take it on the street ever. The up map eliminates the fan.

Nit sure on that, but I know it is lighter than the regular termi. Something about the flange points being milled I think.

I was wondering. You know that header doesn't allow for the fan at all... A manual fan switch is moot since there is no fan anymore. It has nothing to do with the upmap.

The header will clear the fan with the included shroud. There has been a couple install threads here already. It is a very tight fit, but it will clear.

Aknochi Thanks i would like to have the header pipe but don't want to cut or remove anything, a switch is no big deal.

I'll post up install pics as I go SPS. It'll be about a month as I am sourcing all the parts at once. Then I want to do a dyno stock then after the exhaust, filter, and rapid bike.
