As I wrote in another post, we are experiencing som problems with the heat exchanger on our bike. We now found out that it needs to be replaced.
I read on a couple of places that people are removing this completely when converting their bikes to racebikes, but never found any info on how....

Anyone here done this? How did you do it?

the lower radiator is changed from water to a combined oil/water radiator. Then you take out the exchanger. I don't if Tamburino or H2O makes the combined ones. I think Race-Pro in the Netherlands can help you with it.

febur radiators makes one, or you can get one for half the price of febur and get a MAC radiator oil cooler / setup

Can any one confirm, that the potential drop in oil pressure/flow have no effect on lubrication in the engine/heads ??

Do you have any more info about the desmoveloce kit?

Not yet, but should have soon. They prototyped the kit on the AMA bike and then were going to make more of them for sale. I'll be putting one on my bike, so I'll have more info once I get it.
