Today I connected my dimsport (purchased from Deussen Engines) to flash the ECU back to stock before taking it to the dealer tomorrow. Daniel recommended I do this to prevent locking the ECU in case they try to update anything.
Anyways I came across an option to reset service light so I decided to give it a go. Whala! The service light is reset. I took the bike for a 10 minute ride to see if it would revert to service light but nope still clear.
I’m a bit surprised because everything I’ve read online said this device does not have the ability to reset the light, and Deussen also told me the same. Maybe the latest software version is banked something? Who knows, but I am happy!
