As the track build of my '22 V4S proceeds, I'm now looking for rearsets.
Would you recommend those from Evotech ? If not, what others do you like?

I am a big fan of the Attack Racing rearsets. Had them on my 848. I had CNC Racing on my 1199 but the price was a bit high. Attack racing and price and adjustability are good in comparison.

Ive got Gillies which are well built but for track Id be looking for folding levers, rigid pegs and a bit more aggressive grip than they offer. Spare parts availability is important, if the manufacturer or retailer dont offer them then definitely pass. The Evotech and Attack look great ^^, Spider have a good rep and also Woodcraft. There's a lot of good brands

I've been using the Gilles rearsets, model MUE2-D01 on my 2020 V4 base with many track days with them. They have the best adjustability from all the rearsets I researched at the time.

Knowing what I know now, I'd go Spider. The small left heel guard and the longer shifter peg would make that hard braking zone downshifting into a right turn easier.

Attack performance stuff is robust, looks tidy and the pegs provide plenty of grip. I have them on my CBR track bike, can't recommend them enough actually.

+1 They’re solid, tolerances are spot on and boots feel like they’re glued to the pegs.

Kick stand base will need a little grinding though so there’s no interference with the shift lever.

All good suggestions, please keep them coming!
Looking at the various options so far, at least 3 major variations in these set offerings are immediately apparent:
  1. Folding foot pegs vs. fixed
  2. Folding lever tips vs. fixed
  3. Adjustable length levers (to vary distance between foot peg and shift/brake lever tip) vs. fixed
Which option for each do you prefer?

You want fixed pegs folding tips and if possible adjustable reach for the toe pegs. I have Attack on all my other bikes. Richard has not produced a set for V2 yet.
Bonamici are what I have installed at the moment and the tick the same boxes that Attack does. Good grip folding toe pegs and adjustable.

Good friend won California V2 championship but on the way bumped another rider folding up his front brake lever just before the back straight at Sears Point, Sonoma. He got to the chicane doing 126MPH looking at the hard right / left and wall of tires, reached ... no brake lever ... it was sticking up in the air.
He bailed, bike skittered across the field, hit tire wall. Race over.

Folding levers. No. Stupid design. Plenty of better options, like spring loaded folding forward.

Lever Length: I used to run a shorty brake one finger style and long clutch. Now I prefer both long as it's way more ergonomic hanging off in corners. I like holding the very outside of the bar with zero reach to the brake lever. Great leverage, better feel. That's IMHO.

I think he meant folding levers like the actual toe pegs on the rear sets not front brake.

If you ride on street, folding pegs as it's more comfortable/practical. Some of folding pegs you can make fixed by using a grub screw.

If you ride track only, fixed foot pegs and folding toe pegs. They'll act as frame sliders. But also will catch easier and cause a tumble. Not sure which is better. But if you ride real slow like me, there's no issue

I think folding brake and clutch levers, are very sensible on a street bike or for track days. Sure for close racing or any racing it's probably not a good idea but folding levers have allowed me to continue riding after a fall

+1 for Attack Performance rear sets, besides the expanded adjustability the foot pegs themselves are my favorite foot pegs…long with good spikes on the end for grip at lean.

Lever guard for folding brake lever. Attack and many other manufacturers have built in a break point to their fixed pegs to minimize the possibility of tumble in a low side crash on track. Not always but better than half the big bike flips have been a crash slider catching on the curbing while sliding to start the bike gymnastics.

LighTech, folding toe pieces, folding or not foot peg (your choice) pretty happy with them.
