Well as you guys know, sold my pani a few weeks ago. It's happy owner is a navy fighter pilot (I don't think he's registered here yet).
Originally had a hyper sp on order but got to say the reviews and such just didn't grab me. So I ordered a 2014 800 Brutale.. It had arrived at the dealership last week. I was returning home from 4-day 1800 mile trip riding in West Virginia, stopped in at Ridershill Dahlonega and looked at it. Came back Saturday to pick it up. It's a triple and been years since I had my triumph daytona triple, so it doesn't have the torque or engine braking of a twin, but a bit more torque, engine braking than an I-4.
It's a very light bike (manuf says 375 but I think it's probably heavier) It's way lighter than my 910 brutale was. It's a fun scoot, before trailering home I took it on some of the roads around suches and what a great ride, falls into corners, not twitchy like my 910 was.
Already ditched the charcoal canister and have an evotech tail eliminator coming.
