BMW's new 1000RR has a massive Aprilla copy front air wing canard now as well.
I used to have a 16 RR and be a fan- now- I find the BMWs to be 0% attractive. Can’t put my finger on exactly why- but
just don’t like em at all now since the 20+ V4 Panigales came out.

Problem is, even if you remove the stock exhaust, you have a gaping hole at the bottom of the lower fairing with no bellypan whatsoever. It makes the bike look unfinished and flat out ugly. You'd have to go with an aftermarket solution to give the bike a finished look (e.g., Ilmberger). I prefer OEM solutions.The exhaust IS ugly. Maybe they figure most of them will be changed?
Yamaha R1s have this same issue.

I wonder how popular the exhaust aftermarket is for street use outside of the US. Most cops here don't seem to care one way or the other but other countries seem much more strict.The exhaust IS ugly. Maybe they figure most of them will be changed?
