Hey Bowdy, just want to wish you best of luck for the season and thank you for your contributions here.
Fresh kit, you can see the longer tank cover...
What brand race bodywork is that on the 1199? I like how the rear is a one piece, seen a lot that the middle is separate from the sides.
Looks fast riding too
What exhaust you got there Bowdy ?

Full termi, current version. Spent 3 hours on the buffing wheel prior to fitting it, took plenty of time to prepare the bike prior to building it for racing...
BTW, read a thread comparing the R and Base today, does anyone take time to really consider the facts regarding racing? The R is stunning, nice if u want to pose and say hey I can afford the best...
Facts are if ur racing in any championship other than WSBK thr R as a race bike is a pointless journey. Next season they are dumping SS1000 from the national championship, therefore I will have the motors in both my bikes bombed.. Rods, heads flowed, maybe cams if they are available, and some kind of fuel management system.. Forks and shock must be changed anyway... My point is the only thing any racer will not have to replace is the rods.. So why pay the extra for an R when u then have to restring, re valve, fit race fairings, and generally do everything we've done to the base or S... I'm not seeing it.. Am I missing something here?
Happy u guys like the bike, termi looks good polished... Waiting for the new termi for the S, 2 months until the one same as Checa's is available... Till then running stock headers on the S... Full system on the base which is our number 1 bike at the moment...
Bowdy will that samr termi checa exhaust be available to the public or just sbk riders?
you're right but the main reason i did go for the R is that i wanted to have the ABS... it all depends on how far you want to go... if the 30mm kit and TTX is what you want, the R is good. it's all there. just dump the DES and it's ok....
if you go further - like i'm trying with wsbk spec front - you'll hit the electronics quit fast.. and starting from the base, that then is really expensive, closing the gap on the R rapidly...
but it remains a wonderful fact that a 10K miles Base can build you one hell of a race/trackbike... and is the smart way to go!
but hey, if it's smart we're talking, let's go beemer... or stay home and join the swimming club..
