Bike was terrible, eventually found the bolt holding the height adjuster had worked loose, could not get drive out of any fast corners, managed a flat 40 in first practice and just had a nightmare from there on... Bikes at frasers at the moment having the back end looked at... Sooooo frustrated.. The weekend was a totall ....... Totally lost confidance in the bike... If the S had been prepped I'd have just changed bikes... Totally pissed off, testing at eastern creek and back to PI on the 2nd of April... Hope to have it sorted by then...

So sorry to hear that, I ( and I imagine a fair few others ) were really looking forward to reading about how you got on.

Holly crap, been a month without the bikes, no testing, no work no changes... Had a big smash in the rangie in sydney, no tow vehicle for the transporter... Sooo, bikes home shortly, next round in Queensland, stop start track, lots of braking... Have new fork internals on order, and still waiting to see if we have to change the Penske...

What I did eventually get down to was this: the 1199 is hugely sensitive to ride height adjustments, the 190-55 Dunlop we ran in practice dropped the rear, and we ran 10mm less on the first shock.. At the race meeting we ran a new Pirelli 200 series which raised the rear over 20mm plus an additional 10mm on the shock... Causing pump through the fast driving corners at PI, and washout mid corner in turn 1..

Next round is June, will be testing soon, apologies to those of you waiting for an update...
