Laguna Seca World Superbike races in 2001. Back when Ducati ruled. Had a great time. Going out there in July for the Moto GP race, can't wait.

Me giving Ben Bostrom some pointers :D

Awesome,

That is some throwback material right there. 01 is when I first got into riding. BB and his bro EB were killing it back in the day. I wonder why they fizzled.....

Last yr Ben rode for Jordan Suzuki in AMA middle or bottom half finishes if I remember.

Age probably wore him down some. Ben won the pole for the event and won both races that weekend. It was a great weekend for the American winning an International race on home turf.

I was there in '01 as well. We rode the 101 from Port Angeles WA all the way down to Monteray. I got to Meet Colin Edwards. Going to have to dig that pic out. :)

I gotta go and dig out the pics form the final motoGP race in 2004, when I was invited by "aprilia team Germany"

Hey, just while we're on the Laguna Seca subject, we are headed there as well in July, anyone got any ideas on the best vantage points etc? Oh, and what's the carpark like to get out of on Sunday traffic wise? Here in Australia Phillip Island can be bit of a nightmare if you're in a car, sat around not moving for three hours one year, only asking cause we gotta try and get to Reno sunday night, as we are going to take a look at NASCAR at Indy the following weekend.... Express tourism huh..... The faster you go the more you see!

I don't remember the traffic being too bad. I'll be there also in a couple of weeks. Make sure the check out the corkscrew area for viewing. Enjoy your visit to the States!
