Some track day prep questions

Nonsense.

He is slow, doesn't even use the tire properly.

Pressure is fine.

The same tyre looked a lot better after the previous event (you saw a picture of it) - this event had a much colder track, fairly frequent rain, and I was going slower compared to the previous event.

So why didn’t you adjust accordingly… it is a moment by moment thing!

is it Soft compound, right ? if yes, nothing wrong with tire as long as you keep 22-24psi.

Why would I waste my money and time if things are perfect? Seems like a fool’s errand

Glad you like it. 👍

I also might not waste my money and time if I thought the same as you. When I express an opinion on MCs it will be based on actual experience though.

There’s no need to discuss it further.

No offense but your experience is pretty minimal. Whoever is talking you into these MCs is taking you for a ride haha. Sucks to have spent $300 for a paper weight

True, I have minimal experience, but I now have more experience than you as I’ve tried two different MCs on this bike and I’ve experienced a different MC on my other Panigale with the same calipers. All you can contribute is that you like your stock setup, which is great, but it doesn’t need repeating.

As with at least 90% of your posts, you’re talking ...... Firstly, you can’t get the MC that I got for $300. It’s probably double that. Secondly, I needed a 19x18 for my SportClassic so I was able to try it without risk, as I’ve mentioned numerous times. So it won’t be a paper weight - it will be used.

Nobody is talking me into trying them and, again, there’s really no need to discuss it further. There’s a MC thread on the forum and it’s not this one.

I used the OEM MC with the OEM pads and then used the Z04 with the different MC.

So you have no experience w Z04 w stock master… And yet you’ve jumped to the conclusion that that wouldn’t work how?

What I would do is run stock pads in the current MC and see how that goes. If still not good, try Z04 w stock MC. If still not good, try Endless fluid. If still not good, then go for 17

Please quote where I said that wouldn’t work. I haven’t even said the stock set up is bad.

To be honest, I really don’t care what you would or wouldn’t do.
