Wtf does it even mean?

Well, it means I’m slowing down too much… Corner entry speed is too low. I’m even trying later braking points but no matter how light I am on the brake I still seem to have slowed down too much.

First time on Z04 pads as well, if that’s relevant.

MOVE YOUR BRAKING MARKER FORWARD and BRAKE LATER

Tip the bike into the turn quicker

It was a quite a bit bit better in the next session. It’s a shame that I’m unlikely to get more sessions in tomorrow as I think I’m starting to get a feel for it.

It certainly provides a more immediate braking action - as soon as you touch it, you’re slowing down. A bit more lever travel would allow better modulation. The OEM master cylinder requires far more lever travel to start to feel the same amount of braking. It’s a lot more of a vague feeling, but probably a lot easier to use. I definitely needed much later braking markers with this master cylinder.

I might leave it on for next weekend at Most but I do want to try the 17.

I’m not convinced that the DDA is working all that well under the carbon tail.

You're probably going to have to mount the GPS on top of the carbon tail. I think the R1M has it mounted there for much the same reason.

That’s what I was thinking. I saw someone mounted it up the front somehow.

AIM seem to have a small box on their website now – I posted about it in the data acquisition thread and I have not seen it on their website before, although I could have missed it of course!

The very first v4 had the std gps mounted at the front under the nose
You can get a carbon nose piece with a cut out and mounting holes to then put the GPS like this…just under the corse badge….

Why ???

Learn to ride fast first, change one of most reliable OEM braking system after

Brembo recommend a different MC size for these calipers than the one that Ducati fit, so I was curious to try it and I also felt the OEM 16x21 felt a bit vague.

I hope it’s ok with you…

That also say “The 19RCS Corsa Corta master cylinder, on the other hand, is still the best solution for all motorbikes with brake calipers equipped with 34 or 32 mm pistons.” And you still decided to fit it 🤦‍♂️

I don't get the dog pile on @spooky. Dude took a chance running it to see how it was going to feel. He knew of the general recommendations from Brembo.

I know from other threads some riders preferred the RCS 19.

He took it upon himself to test 19 vs 17, under the pretense the 16 (OEM) was too soft.

Just take in the information and be more informed should you want to upgrade your brake master.
