No idea what you are looking for... you were dead wrong. Lucky he didn't give you another ticket for naming your bike.

What!? What the hell happened?

Can't say details other than was riding quickly up interstate. Detective pursued me 8+ miles from Louisville and accused me of lane splitting traffic. I've never done that at highway speeds or anything other than stopped traffic in my life. But in KY that's apparently two felonies (wanton endangerment x 2). I wasn't running. Didn't see him at all. First ever ticket on a bike in my life and I got the above mentioned plus improper following distance, wreckless operation and 100+ in 70 zone. I think there was one more thing on there as well. Fleeing was not on there since detective acknowledged I pulled over immediately as soon as he got close enough to be seen. I never flee. I just pull over and go to court.
First an hopefully last time I get arrested. Jail
Sucks for OCD types like me even for 8 hours.
It was the day before my last deals gap trip. What an adventure that day was.

I have a similar story, from way back ('96). Sounds almost exactly the same actually, except I got the 'attempting to evade' thrown in for good measure. I wasn't, I pulled over as soon as I saw him. Didn't matter though, lesson learned.

Like you, when I get tagged, I get tagged. I pull over, act rationally and respectfully, and "pay the fiddler."

Ouch that sucks. When KY LEO saw you, how far were you from OH?

Well thanks for the advice, the jelly bug bites agian!!! This time while it was parked, metermaid gave me a 114$ ticket for no plates!!!!! I freakin just got the bike, DMV haven't sent me any plates...WTF?!!

FYI , the officers said they " flashed their lights" and followed me from the previous stop light when I saw them pulling out of cut midway from the stop light the stop sign! And honestly I say the most I was doing was 58 if that! Bottom line these guys were the cops that give them all a bad name... Also naming my bike is a personal choice sure it might be weird but don't have to hate, keep it to your self if you READ what I asked for, I asked for advice not for criticism! Thank you

A very long ways. 50+ miles at least.

The 'Kentucky State Detective' was behind me when I got on I-71N to head to Cincinnati. I never saw him as car was unmarked Chevy Malibu. He decided to pursue me.

I'm normally very very very very observant. I don't roll by cops without seeing them, especially on a bike. Rarely in a car.

It was just ill fated bad luck that he happen to be close enough behind me to see my bright red beauty, but far back enough that I didn't see him.
We all know bike mirrors suck. Can't make out unmarked cars in them, or at least I can't.

Go to the track I have never seen anybody get tickets there. People that do this kinda stuff on the streets gives the rest of us a bad reputation. Good luck getting out of your ticket lol.

I have no points left on my license - One more ticket and I'm done. This is the risk you take running fast on the streets. Can't complain about a situation you caused. I now take it out on the track - Until I get my point back :D

Trial by declaration. Has worked every time for me and my ex-girlfriend (who happens to be a lawyer).

Basically, if you plead not-guilty and the cop shows up you'll get the ticket. Keep in mind that police get paid to show up to court. However, they do not get paid to respond to trial by declarations and, in most cases, are coin-operated and don't ever reply. Especially if it's a LONG declaration you make.

What do you mean declaration? How do you do it? Thanks
