I have the -22 S and a big Pipewerx and was at the Brno in June. Popping was frequent to say the least.....It went so bad that the .... expanded to further up into the rpm range. I had tricolore farings from an R on.
My bike was run in 1000km on the street and all 100% original when I bought it. Had some issues last autumn with stalling at idle but was told it will be addressed with the new software. Installed it this spring. Changed plugs and coils as well after advised by Ducati.
On the first day after one outing I had it into Ducati in Brno as I noticed it was worse then my earlier track day test, but they found no errors.
No engine light on, no codes. They said to replace the ignition coils and sparkplugs. I had that done already before, so then they gave up. Blamed the exhaust as I had standard -23 mapping installed.
Found out that it run better in power mode medium, and could run somehow okey on Friday. Idle terrible all the time.
Saturday was worse but if I did not push to fast on the accelerator it was drivable sort of.
Last day it did not even start in the morning but could manage when using street mode. Fun to be overtaken by the 600s
Gave it into the dealer (again) at home and it popped etc. Put back the original exhaust. Excactly the same. No codes. Did all avaliable updates, checked compression and all other things you can do on the service tool from Ducati. Still the same. Next step was to send a log file and it turned out it ran fat on all 4 cylinders when cold and fat on 2 and lean on two when warmed up. What does that mean?, no answer.
Last bid is to replace my ecu, still standing waiting since weeks...
Just needed to get some steam out!
