Hi everyone,

my 2018 Panigale V4S in Corse livery was stolen from Motocorsa in Portland, Or the night of June 1-2. They didn’t have a single camera in the dealership and didn’t inventory the customer bikes after the burglary (they did inventory their merchandise) resulting in my motorcycle not being reported missing for over 88 hours.

I have just over $45,500 invested in the bike. Keep an eye out please. [email protected]

Was it lifted away or did they get a key too? I’d watch eBay and other sites for parts being for sold off it. Without a key it’s dead to them, but the parts could be sold. If they got a key for it then who knows what’s up. I’d also look on social media for a person saying they just got a great deal on one. I hate to say this, but from working in retail and knowing people in loss prevention, most thefts are inside jobs or friends of people working at shops that know exactly where the good stuff is located and where to find keys.

Damn I am originally from portland and have had nothing but amazing exp at MotoCorsa, but that was when Arun was there. I hope they are jsut getting you a new bike and dealing with THEIR insurance??

Holy ..... That's horrible. I am super sorry to hear that. Hopefully they make you whole in short order.

Oh wow...that means it was no accident that it took 88hrs to "find" that it was missing. Inside job!

The key was not taken. It was wheeled away with a new V2. They found the V2 the next day a couple of blocks away. (They knew it was gone because they inventoried their merchandise) Two helmets were also stolen.
I have receipts for everything. They are replacing the bike and say that they are going to replace the parts as well. They will be eating the labor. Granted, nothing is in writing yet but they seem to want to make right. The former GM Jason has been demoted and Shahin is the new GM.
There were some mods to mine that were unique and I have been looking at Craigslist all over the country, at Letgo, at offerup, and on eBay but not a single piece has shown up. I firmly believe that it is still sitting complete (or nearly) in some garage somewhere.
Please keep an eye out! This was my dream bike.

I’m guessing the V2 was taken as a distraction as was the other gear. Sounds like somebody knew your bike was there, and went after it. Also quite common when something nice and unique is stolen, other items are also taken as a distraction.

If you have pics or good descriptions of the unique parts, post them up. I'm sure many here are like me and always looking for cool/useful items almost daily

The rearset mounts were powder coated black. That way the black Bonamici rearsets flow better. Desmoworld clutch cover, engine covers removed, custom seat cover.
There are a few other things. Probably the only 2018 Corse, since they didn’t come as a Corse until 2019.

It's sad to see a fellow Corse owner have his bike stolen. So painful to read. Sorry for your loss. You should tell them they owe you a Corse with R fairings for the 88hrs it went unaccounted for.

Yeah. It feels pretty surreal. She was my dream bike. I'm hoping that they do me right. They say they are going to but we will see. Actions speak louder than words....88 hours. SMH.

Hours are adding up fast. I hope you can have a conversation with the dealer like “I need a bike by this weekend... here’s a list of all the accessories on my old bike”
If they give you 2020 S model you can always get fairings with a fancy paint job. I really hope they make this right for you this week. Otherwise get the lawyers involved and stop posting here until you have a new bike to post a picture of

They are replacing my bike with a new 2019 V4S and the GM has told me that they will be buying and installing all the parts I gave them in my itemized list (with receipts). Their insurance is dragging their feet giving the thumbs up to start work though. I believe it is because the insurance wants to wait and see if my bike turns up before they start tearing into a new bike. Getting lawyers involved is the last option. I doubt it will come to that and Motocorsa knows that I would like to remain a happy customer.
