I read Total Control and Twist of the Wrist v.2 when I was on vacation a few months ago. Total Control had a few sections about setup, but I wouldn't think it was as complete as you'd find in a dedicated book about the subject. I found it useful though.

Hello Everyone,
I got this book a while back, and i refer to it often. Sometimes re-reading a section many times after some on bike experimentation.
You have to fuss with stuff ultimately. When you start translating what's coming thru your palms and the balls of your feet to damping/suspension changes which work with your riding style it's like magic. And less fatiguing. Experiment away.

I have that book you list and it ok but very elementary. But defiantly a great place to start.

There are a couple of other good books you might find helpful.

no1 for me by far is the race tech suspension bible. I keep this in my tool box and sometimes at the track if I am struggling for a setup.

Also the Troy Baylis “a faster way” is more about rising but he talks about bike setup which is fascinating.
