someone unleash the "mighty tye" from the ducati ms forum"¦.. lmfaooo .. wilkson based on your response to whitepani13 your as wrong as he is for the negativity and stooping low"¦ and if i had to defend both of you then freedom of speech"¦.

Ok...So even about a guys death you guys have to fight??? Please consider your posts and the context guys..... Lets be civil... Please...

Your right and I apologise for it . I just don't like seeing riders judge each other before knowing the facts especially when two riders have died .

I understand... Open discussion is good... I tend to agree that people jump to conclusions about the "facts"... Losing a fellow rider or in this case 2 is tragic..and we all know that at some point in our lives we have crossed that yellow line..or if not you will...

Its a great thread and there's a lot more involved here..

I guess that's why I put the example of Greg Pretty there . The other rider was harshly judged and as it turned out months later after a investigation it was not his fault at all.

i wish you all safety this year please ride safe ride within your limits unless your at a race track and remember one thing neither rider woke up knowing today was the day they face their maker so sometimes events in life are inevitable and all we can do is increase our survival by riding safely and defensively…. their is no one to blame at the end because both people are dead.

It's a accident . Bit of respect .

I understand what your saying. You might even be right.

But that dude is a murderer who took a man away from his wife and kids and children, due to his own ignorance of how to ride and overstepping his ability.

I don't feel sorry for Darwin awards, I do however feel pretty badly about the poor SOB he killed minding his own business.

The internet is a very easy place to judge others when we know very little about the circumstance .
You have on several occasions talked about riding fast in the canyons and having your tyres feathered on a street ride your about as close as it gets to making a error as what this guy may or may not have done .
If your going to judge then judge yourself you may be as close to being a "murderer" as what he is but just not committed the crime yet .

We were talking about this today, both me and the guy I ride with are rougher then crap on each other when one of us blows a line. back of the line, and at lunch your azz is chewed.

To date the times that we have, were all low speed tight 1rst gear corners and were only a foot over the line usually slowed to about 15-20mph. We have never been to a point of endangering anyone but ourselves.

knocks on wood.

If I blew a highspeed corner flat moving, Id thank the guy that kicked my azz good for it.

My first assumption was young guy on tri is to blame. But I've also done plenty of work with auto accidents and the devil is always in the details, and none of us have any. (And local news stories, even when reporting "facts" are dead on wrong a staggering amount of the time) Could be 100 things, could be either or both riders. With really zero facts, I would think the best we could take from this is recognizing the inherent danger of what we love and revisit our own safety standards and habits, particularly as spring has us all gunned up to get on it. My thoughts go out to both families.

My thoughts Exactly! Two men died that's what we should really care about both were too young.
