To add to this question, with the purchase of T800, I know you get one free map, can that free map be the MTORQUE one instead of performance? or do I have to buy the MTORQUE even though I only want one map? If that's the case, I guess I have to spend $350 for the T800 and another +$200 for the additional MTORQUE map?
You have to purchase the Mtorque map. But trust me it’s well worth the money. .... I’d trade in some of the carbon fiber parts to buy the T800 and Mtorque if I had too! Lol it’s how this bike should have come from the factory.

No, they give you a coupon code of sorts to download the Performance map for free. I tried to get a Mtorque with it but the site said the code wasn't valid for that product. Its expensive no doubt but well worth it. Even before an exhaust its the best bang for the buck option....I mean the Akra exhaust is $5k, so there not a lot of value there.

Sounds like MTORQUE is the way to go. Another question, how many miles before you guys flash upmap? I only have 220 miles right now, too early to flash before first service?

I notice all the map is for 2020, I have a 2021. I know there's change for Euro5 but not sure if it's the same for the US 2021. Will the map be ok for 2021 as well?

I have the same sentiment and question - In my case I pay times 18 (X18) because of the exchange rate. So I'll wait to hear from other's experience before I buy.
I have a '21 and fitted my Akra homologated silencer to the bike. I then purchased the Torque UpMap and installed. I can say resoundingly yes that it made the bike work better. In fact, I forget to disconnect the lambda's when I did the UpMap. I rode for about a week and over time thought that the bike was running like it had previously, for instance it accelerates harder in 3rd gear then 1-2. So I thought it was my imagination, but more and more I was like no, something isn't right. There's certain areas of where I live that I can get into the TC and see the lights flash on the dash. When I installed the UpMap the lights flashed way more often in this same area. Then over time it went back to no flashing or very little.
Low and behold, I didn't disconnect the lambda's and the bike mapped itself back to stock or close. I've since removed the Torque Map entirely and will re-install at a dyno run to get a before/after.

A follow up question: Today I took the SF V4S for a rather spirited 120km session in the mountains.... short and long sweeps, up hill and down hill, power bursts etc. etc. It was 32C - so let's call it nice warm riding weather. Two things I need to clear out before buying that I hope UpMap will cure... 1. The SF does not run very smooth/even at a stable speed, especially noticeable as the weather heats up - I feel some form of "surge" (unlike my Super Duke that runs very smooth). 2. When I got back home I rode the bike into my driveway and gave the bike a blip (clutch pulled in) but it was "asleep" / dead / unresponsive... very unlike my Super Duke... Blipping the SF from low revs is not its strong point - regrettably!! For those with the UpMap and MTorque installed: Does UpMap cure these two issues? (If someone can test and let me know... - these are two issues that frustrates me from Ducati - my XDiavel did the same thing and I sold it!) Please, let me know. If this is not cured by UpMap I'll have to rethink buying. Thanks & regards!

Why are you so worried about a blip? I do not understand. If you blip the engine when the clutch is pulled in, what is that a measure of? Which bike makes more noise faster?

Perhaps some of that is related to the throttle tables. That is, the position of the throttle bodies to the grip. I think the Mtorque map resolves some of the limits of power which are related to the throttle position but I don't have a way to measure it.

I think this is my personal preference... I want a normal bike that can blip - and it has got absolutely nothing to do with noise. If a bike can't blip in neutral or a pulled clutch it does the same when riding and one want to gear off in low revs... you blip the throttle right?? But when it is a Ducati this function is "dead" on the newer bikes it seems. That sir, is my obsession...

I would think the better aftermarket mapping would improve throttle response over stock, it always does. This bike does have an excessive amount of throttle twist needed to get the response desired, pretty much the opposite of my last which was like riding with a toggle switch. I prefer about 1/4 turn zero to hero, but the stock SF needs 1/2 or more so getting into the meat takes more movement; I'm sure this is engineered in as a way of mitigating the crazy power for a less experienced or aggressive rider which is probably a good thing. But you shouldn't need to rotate your hand on the grip to get it to full lock.

I didn't feel that I couldn't blip the throttle when the bike was completely stock. I do think the response is better with the aftermarket map though. I also did the throttle spacers since I'm not a fan of the free play in the stock throttle.

I dropped the Street Fighter off at my dealer today to have her tuned. Their going to also remap my throttle so it will come in sooner and in the upper revs the throttles blades will be able to open 100%

Sorry I meant to say that I dropped off my Street Fighter today to my dealer. They are going to tune her and rework the throttle mapping. Also going to make sure all the restrictions are removed and at WOT make sure the throttle bodies are 100% open. Looking forward to seeing how it goes. I really enjoyed the Mtorque map but wanted to try and make it 100% to my bike.

I don't care much about a blip, but I would like a smoother on/off throttle transition. With the Torque Map installed the restriction were removed and the bike felt much more lively, but the on/off throttle is still not great. I've got a lot of projects going on at the moment, but early in the New Year I'll be trying to tune it out, maximize power through the stock exhaust, and see where I land with that.

Hi all, just got my Streetfighter v4s 2 weeks ago, came from 14 Aprilia Tuono with race map and Akra slip on. For those that got the MTorque or performance map and only with a stock exhaust, do you feel the price is well worth it? Does the gain from removing the limited torque totally transform then bike? I am kind of on the fence on getting the Mtorque map but will not be upgrading to different exhaust at all, staying stock is good enough for me. Also, should I wait until I get my first service done first before getting upmap?

yes, very well worth it. I am far from a pro rider but the low end torque is much better vs Pre mtorque.
