Got it working now. Plug it back in and the bike fires right up. As for the breather and overflow lines, I didn't disconnect them to begin with. I think the red and yellow plug came off by itself when I slightly lifted the tank up from the rear.

So I am receiving my termignoni exhaust system in the mail today with the T 800 up map and the air filter. I’ve been reading that the 2021 models have four lambda probes instead of two in which need to be unplugged. Is this accurate? And if so, I’m only able to locate two of them without tearing into the bike. Anyone on here have any info on this? Thank you in advance

I talked to my dealer today and the custom tuning is going very well. So far over the Mtorque map he has been able to gain 5% more torque and increase the HP by 7HP and remap the throttle maps. He's going to play with the air box lid tomorrow to see what effect that has and then button it up. He says now it feels more like the Panigale V4 which will be great! There was a huge difference between my Speciale and the SF when you were ripping.

How long have they had the bike now? What did they charge for it?

I'm sure it would be worse with custom mapping.

What do they mean by "play with the airbox lid?" I presume the throttle adjustments?

Actually in most cases production IC engines fuel efficiency can improve from a well tuned ECU mapping. Production vehicles usually run on the rich side of the spectrum due to emissions regulations.

As for playing with the airbox lid, it's an attempt to increase volumetric efficiency (VE) or simply allowing the engine to breathe better by letting more air in. So modifying the airbox inlet(s) basically.

Kek. Are you ready for what is coming that nothing can stop?

Nothing Can Stop What Is Coming

My fuel usage has been ...... bc my wrist is out of control. It’s not making more power bigly than stock, now it’s just smooth with the slip & map. The bike will be as efficient as it was b4 if that’s what you’re asking, maybe even mor
can anyone advise the fuel usage for before and after mapping ?

Ignore the specific a/f figures in this example but it describes the effects of leaning mixtures on CO and NOx emissions.

As you can see... CO figures drop but NOx increases as you lean out from where you want to be.

How does the flashed map adjust for changes in altitude, temp, humidity, etc. without a wideband AFR sensor?

I run a wideband AFR module on another bike which constantly monitors the air/fuel ratio (AFR) to keep it at prescribed parameters (average 13).

How does a fixed fuel map adjust?

Simple answer is it likely doesn't. I never had any issues with my T800 flashed V4 starting in the sub-30s so it might adjust based on the IAT sensor, but that would be its only way of know what the outside world is like.
