I see a flat spot at around 5.300 u/min, one at 9000 and a little one at 7800 for the blue line.
The red one is nicely linear from the bottom to the top.
Mabe i understood it wrong but i guess the blue line is your custom map with more hp max Power?
Yes the blue line is the custom map. He tuned out the little dip that was right about 5200 / 5300

I'm about to receive my Upmap T800 and was going to buy the MTorque map, thinking it should make a huge difference in the 1st four gears (adding the 40 odd hp Ducati took away) - however Bill from Cali Moto TV says it is not worth the money - no real difference between the free map and the $200 MTorque... Is Upmap making a nonsense statement regarding Mtorque?

Spend the 200 you‘ll be glad you did.

I find it fascinating how peoples minds work, 50 people can say something is great and 1 person can say its not and the 1 person gets more value then the 50. I see this again and again

It is called free speech... Listen to all and the make up your own mind.

I get that, but why do people give one negative opinion so much more weight then a bunch of positive

truly that's not listening to all that's listening to one over all
That's life - we now have an overload of info and the crowded world of views is totally confusing. I picked up my UpMap T800 (thanks!) - had to pay the bloody full import tax! Tomorrow I'll fit and then buy the Mtorque map and make up my own mind - just to add that info to the rest of the confusion.

I installed the UpMap T800 and dowloaded the free performance map. Both 02 sensors are disconnected. Actually a very simple process. After completion "Racing Pro" was displayed on the inst. panel. The SF started up OK and at first it sounded less "rough" but when it warmed up a bit the idle rpm was low. On the road the bike struggled in traffic when I had to ride slow in 1st & 2nd. Stopping at intersections idling was low and adding gentle throttle even made this worse. On the open road I could not feel much of a difference between OEM and the performance map. Weather is windy with a temp. of 36C (97F). I'm not happy with the 1st & 2nd gear performance in traffic - much too lumpy.

Bummer on the t800. Shiv should have more info on his map any day now. I have been holding out for that.

I've watched Bill's (Cali Moto TV) videos and take what he says with a grain of salt.

It's got nothing to do with free speech. It's a thought disorder to apply more value to an outlying statistic than to the majority.
Thats why Yelp exist. Lots of whining, complaining little ......., going on endlessly, about the world not conforming to their every will and desire. I just bought a T-800, I'll install it, and if it doesn't work as described I'll contact who sold it to me, and/or Termignoni, and figure things out. Contrarily to what little ....... think, merchants and sellers actually want their products to work and have satisfied customers. That's how you make money. I will not crouch down in a corner and cry myself to sleep, or look for others to reinforce my hurt feelings, so we can all comfort each other...
I watched some of his videos, he talks too much, even interrupting Dave Moss as he was setting up his suspensions.
He was praising the new Aprilia 660 until he had to adjust the suspensions and they were not easily enough accessible? Really?

I saw the video where he was instructing people how to torque the brake calipers...while not following the torque procedure in the manual. Its not the biggest deal I'm sure, but if you are presenting material as if you are an authority figure on it...do your f'n homework.

I watch his videos with Dave Moss in them...the others...eh. He was complaining about his S 1000 RR and how the power was way up high, but he's at 1000 RPM in 4th gear on a corner exit. Most of his complaints about that throttle stuff could be solved with being in a lower gear.

One thing comes to mind when I was watching his latest video about possibly selling his SFV4S...I can't help but wonder if he put the speedo in Kph rather than Mph..if he is doing MPH then it's kind of interesting to see he is going around corner at 95 to 100 mph while one hand on the bar and casually talking...must be some mad skills there...if it's kph then that tells you everything you need to know about being a Youtuber

In the Aprilia video with Dave Moss he was saying how he rides in MPH. Maybe it was tongue in cheek, but it didn't come off that way.

I don't get the content about cosmetic mods. I'd rather learn technique or the like. I can over pay for Ducati bolt-ons like anyone else. God knows I overpaid for that Akra exhaust for my SFV4. Now with my 2021 Panigale V4S, I want to take half that Akra money and take a class.

A skilled rider on an unmodified bike will smoke an average rider on a highly modified one.. every time. The stock Pani V4S with a pro rider on it is within 2s of a MotoGP bike on the same track, for God's sake! There's no upmap in the world that will make you that fast, but practice and coaching will get you close.
I've always had to squeeze more out of less in pretty much every motorized competition or even my hobbies (money is a big difference maker for sure), and this SFV4 is the first Alpha machine I've gotten my hands on. So now I'm obsessed with trackday instruction to live up to its potential as a rider. if you need your ego stroked, put more farkles on your bike and stay away from serious track riders, but if you want to learn how to legitimately be fast (safely and competently) then become a student of the guys who operate these things at their limit- there's a reason why they can do it consistently.

Once you drink the Kool-Aid of a fun track day your perception will forever be altered. Unless you're the guy on the 959 who lowsided in front of me. Rule #1: don't piss off the instructor.

Allegedly. Those didn't look like off the showroom floor models.

But, I agree with your post.

Absolutely!! I went SF V4s, because my neck doesn't allow for a proper tuck or the average sport bike ergonomic stance anymore. The Multi was fun (and supremely confortable) but dragging hard parts (and breaking repeatedly some) suck. $1,000 rearsets would be like putting lipstick on a pig.
But...I do like my bling/noisy exaust and what have you...
Look forward to track this amazing "Alpha"; (I like that adjective) motorcycle.

To be fair, it was on slicks. And to your point it was a marketing exercise so who knows what is untouched.

Once you forgo the homologation/emission/noise nonsense I'm sure the factory can really get some performance out of these things. Like you said though, its marketing. There's no context, like they list the exact specs, etc. Makes for a good tweet though.

ETA: Some more context from a subsequent post.

“The Panigale are all stock bikes as you can buy on your local dealer, with additional accessories taken from the Ducati Performance accessory catalogue,” [sic] “Most important are the racing exhaust and the raised footpegs kit. Some added a thumb rear brake. Then add talent and training!”

The more important parts are the training followed sharply by talent.
