Numbered bikes are cool if there if their is a total of 500 or less. 1500 Speciale's is a bit much. I would put up with the habits of the 1299 if there was a Anverserio or a SL
sitting in my garage.
A V4 base with some ohlins internals and slip-ons would be good enough for me. I talked to a dealer last year he still had a new Bayliss in his personal collection he was trying to sell. I was tempted but went after a 1299 base instead.
