V4 ‘23 - First Ducati. What comes stock with the bike? First mods suggestions?

You rang? As Pecco’s crew chief, the Rider is in agreement with my initial recs of clear clutch cover and shorty levers. The Rider also added that a blacked out screen is also a necessity.

Any recommendations on the clear clutch cover by the way? The dealer only stocks the ducabike set, but I kinda like the CNC ones I’ve seen. Should I be considering another?

Oh I’ve got my eyes on the Futurismoto tail tidy though, exactly what I was looking for! Feel the NRC one could have been better, just a personal preference I guess since it’s very well received in the market. But looks like it’ll have to wait as the next batch is unlikely to be anytime soon.

Have picked up the GB racing covers for the engine and stator for now, was gonna run with that. But have always seen the CC as such a unique ducati thing and maybe that kid in me was like oooo shiny gotta try that! But yea no plans to try it on anytime soon though.

Just keen af to get my hands on the bike, the only time I’ve ridden the v4 was a friend’s ‘19 panigale a few months back and that felt quite raw and I was hooked - compared to my ‘21 CBR. Sold her last week and the first weekend without a bike was hard to endure.

That's the one I'm using. The wait times can be long but well worth it.

Never been known for being patient, but I’d gladly wait for that like you said. The workmanship and design on it looks stellar compared to the other mass produced tail tidy options. Read about the guy that runs the company as I was looking it up and it’s a cool story and he seems to be passionate about what he does. Something I’d be happy to support for sure.

Ive got both the evotech and futurismoto tidies. The evotech is heavy and clunky, definitely needs the mini indicators. The FM is pretty good, although the one of the LED's has partly delaminated- still works. FYI all tail assemblies get absolutely hammered by stones and whatever flicking of the tire so some protective film for the tank, tailpiece, tidy and most importantly the taillight are a good idea. Have broken 3 panigale tail lights in 60,000k's, all from stones.

Agreed. Maybe my favorite mod on my bike. 👍

Just a data point re: radiator guards - my bike is track only. Got a pin hole in the oem radiator at Barber despite running a guard. I guess there’s a chance the hole developed spontaneously and wasn’t due to debris strike, but I run a guard and it doesn’t seem to effect temp.

Great thread! The usual suspects are in rare form. Sipping a latte and toasting you all as I do. ☕

I'm getting my bike ready for a track day this weekend and I noticed how dinged up the tail light is.

If still available, this is another quality option:
