I would guess it's enough if you still have the stock inlet arrangement. I think the real bottleneck is there. If you toss the lights and go full inlet size, you can use a much more free flowing filter. Need to be able to tune these things.
 
You have this nailed. There is also a concern with black and gray market products as well as Chinese type knockoffs. They're trying to keep things really tight. If you haven't already, throw a Sprint, or better yet, an MWR filter at it. You'll get more air, especially up top.

100% Correct, exactly the conclusion we came to, if you want instant power put a good filter in, it's about all that can currently be done. Ducati recommend Sprint, the Dyno guy i went to said MWR are the best at the minute
