Maybe with 2026 being Ducati's 100th anniversary as a company, they will introduce a new bike that year? I'm sure there will be special commemorative editions, etc.

Good thought. I can see it going either way - big debut of a new model to mark the centennial, OR maybe they get more mileage out of a new model in the year or two prior and then releasing a limited edition “centenario” to mark the actual anniversary.

circa 2004 in Almeria....always thought they were prettier in track guise!

Never thought the 999 was an ugly bike. A bit jarring coming from the exquisite lines of the 916. 999 was more brutalist form over function.

But it looks even better when converted to SSSA

I believe Euro 5+ goes into effect in 2024. I would expect an engine that can meet those emissions req's to be announced in 2023 to be the homolgation special for 2024.

Euro 5 became mandatory for new bikes as of January 1, 202. However, there may be a two year derogation period similar to the implementation of Euro 4.
