Nice work! Was admiring the FB post this morning and was wondering how you like the Brembo Supersport Rotor Kit in Gold compared to the OEM rotors?
I'm not sure there is any advantage in having them fitted, other than they look nicer IMHO. Goldline discs (or at least their visual equivalent) came as standard on earlier bikes such as the 916, which is why I prefer them.

Hi, do you have a list of bolt sizes for the bike? Would appreciate it if you could share which part utilizes which bolt size. Not easy to find online for the panigale v4..

They are listed in the service manual which you can find with a quick Google search.

The PDF documents titled "Frame Tightening Torque Values" and "Engine Tightening Torque Values" list them. Some of the thread pitch specs are missing from the frame one, but its easy to figure out.

Pick your bike from the list, flip through the parts diagrams, bolt sizes are shown

Hi this is a very helpful link! i saw a simiar link like that but certain parts still lists as ' Screw' or 'Screw Special'.. which is annoying

Some trinkets from MotoCorse arrived today. I will post up some pics of them fitted tomorrow.

Billet brake and wiring cover fitted. Reservoir delete, cleans up the clumsy OEM setup.

Used silicone spray on the rubber seal to help the reservoir seat and seal properly over the inlet port of the brake master cylinder. Jury's out on the reservoir cap but I can always revert to the black one if I wish, but for now I will leave this one on.

Got to ask, with this level of detail is it for display or riding?
It is my every intention to ride it, as I have all my previous project bikes, but circumstances in my life have, up until now, prevented me from being able to do so, which is very frustrating after 3 years of ownership. In terms of 'display', only in the sense of me looking at it in the garage! Until our driveway is done, it's physically very difficult to get the bike out at the moment (with half a ton of hardcore blocking the exit) and with winter approaching it is probably going to be Spring 23 when I finally sling a leg over it. I've waited this long, I dont think a few more months is really going to make much difference anymore. Am I itching to take it out for a spin, yes of course!!

Having collected the calipers from the paintshop yesterday, I spent an hour or so carefully refitting the spring plates, pads and Stahlbus bleed nipples to the front calipers. As standard these "Rosso" Stylema calipers supplied by Ducati, are only available with the Brembo logo in black, one of the principle reasons I had them repainted, so as to match the colour of the logos on the bike. The etch primer, paint and clear coat used, were all specially ordered in and are heat resistant (rated to 482C) to prevent any degradation or changes in the finish or colour. Now I've just got to fit and bleed them, then it's on to the rear.

Curious why you didn't have the calipers powder coated instead of painted?

Powder coating is a lot cheaper than a bespoke paint job, but it is very thick and you lose a lot of the definition and shape of the casting as a result. It scratches easily and there is no guarantee it won't discolour over time when subjected to heat, it also requires baking at a high temperature would then have involved me having to remove the seals and pistons as well, as they are not designed to be exposed to such conditions. Finally you would never get the finish a paint job will give you with powder coating alone. You will find most professionally painted calipers are just, that painted and not powder coated.

Black letters on your calipers would have matched the black “S” on your fairings better… Just kidding ;) Looks very clean!
