I think that those V4SL wings take so much away from what is an otherwise beautiful motorbike. It blows my mind that the aftermarket would treat them as a highly desirable upgrade.

I had to jump through more than a few hoops to ensure that my V4SL would not come with wings. That last thing that I would want to do is pay extra to add them to something else that is fortunate enough to come without them.

idk about the huge sl wings, I have to see it in real life. but I do love the R wings both in pix and in reality

I will when I get it because it's still not built - I requested one of the last 5 built (last day).

However, they did send me pics of what they made for the fairings to replace the wings and they do look bad ....

I like the SL wings but not enough to spend 800 dollars on them. Waiting for a chinese ebay seller to make them out of polymer instead of carbon so I can pick them up for cheap.

You have a lot of faith in chinese ebay sellers... I guess wings are a little less risky item to buy from them though.

I got plastic V4R winglets for my track bike that fit perfect and are sturdy from a chinese ebay seller. They won't win any glamor awards, but they serve their purpose.
