Hello all,

Recently purchased a new 2021 V2. I cannot bring myself to spend $4,000 on an akrapovic slip on, nonetheless $6,000 on the full exhaust. I’ve almost purchased it multiple times but stopped myself. My question is, should I wait for other exhaust companies to come out with some for the V2? Or should I go with the Toce exhaust? I really like the way it sounds and my buddy has one (on his CBR1000RR Fireblade) and it sounds pretty sick. It’s substantially less expensive and could probably get the full system (when the headers release) for cheaper than the akrapovic slip on. Is Toce really a bad brand? I’ve contacted them and even with the slip on, I get slight increase to midline torque and max power. What are your guys thoughts?

In my experience, Toce looks good in pictures but definitely shows its price point up close. The hardware they supply rusts very quickly and the build quality (welds and whatnot) is pretty poor. They don't look too bad on Japanese motorcycles, but in my opinion, the higher fit and finish quality of an Italian superbike will highlight the poor fit and finish of a Toce exhaust more than someone would like.

There's a handful of decent budget options from SC project and other brands that don't have the ridiculous Akra-Ducati tax.

I have have this FM Project for sale that will fit your bike fwiw it sounds like nothing else and makes power. The first two pic's are for reference the third is my bike which I'm removing it from . Asking $2500 for the full system with two head pipes

+ 1 SC Project. Saying that, I love Akrapovic exhausts and I vote for a slightly used Akra exhaust.

Oh yeah, totally forgot 1199/1299 exhausts fit the V2 (they fit the 959 as well if you throw a SSSA on there). You might have to make a custom bracket for anything that attaches under the tail, but otherwise just about everything else should bolt right up.

Your bike is 950cc

It’s not 1200cc - and certainly not 1285

A $6000 70mm akra would look cool but the system @Jedclampet is selling will WORK better on a 950cc twin than anything else mentioned here. Way better...

It has smaller tubes and a better merge

It’s a no brainer

If it was out of warranty I would recommend stock exhaust cored, air filter and ecu flashed until a used Akro slip on becomes available. Not sure what exhaust keeps the bike in warranty.

I just sold a full akra system with upmap for 2500 FYI be patient don’t buy crap

But also to dons point the 959 engine doesn’t benefit performance wise too much from the full system. It’s primarily a weight savings benefit. 959 with slip on is great, so long as it is not garbage

You guys all miss the point which is the under engine exit is limited and the rear exit has fewer bends and in most case the rear exit systems are more like each cylinder has it's own pipe with less Siamese between the two.
And what's more less heat under your nuts when you no longer have the loop there, just look at WSBK. Nuff said learn the hard way

I respectfully disagree Karl I started with adding the front exit Termi to my 2018 959 and followed it up later by adding the matching Ti headers which were quite a bit larger diameter and you felt it.
I've seen you ride and I do not have your skill but none the less the full system made more power through out the range. Granted nothing will turn a 959 into a 1199/1299 but it did run stronger
I also had a Tune by Anthony Corbo at Bauce Racing which had it fueling very clean.
Lastly the FM Project does have an unusual design and may not appeal to everyone's taste I get that.
