Yeah if Marchesini did indeed go that route on the new wheels it's failure waiting to happen. They had it correct all these years and worked so hopefully they don't have rotor bolts sheering coming off the straight at the race tracks.

I think we must be talking at crossed purposes. I just checked out the 1198 parts page and the 1198 is set up same as OEM 1199. I just could not see a speed sensor. But there is just 5 bolts/screws on each side that hold the disc rotor to the wheel hub. The new wheels I am putting on are exactly the same set up as OEM 1199. It is just that because the hub is not as wide on the magnesiums that there is a spacer between rotor and wheel. It still uses 5 screws each side to attach to the wheel. I do not see a difference. I think we must be speaking about different things. I am just talking about the front wheel. Send me a PM if there is something I am not getting.
