Must have been a squid that said that.
Here is one as well. I walk in the gas station to get some gatorade, and that time I was riding my 2012 Ninja ZX10R. The guy looks at my bike and tells me, that in his country (Pakistan) he can get exactly like my bike for just USD 600. I cracked up and told him, I would love to see that on paper and buy one for that so I resell it here! Deal? Next time i went to the same place guy did not want to say a word about it .
He's probablly telling the truth.. It is quite common for stolen cars and motorcycles to end up in the middle east. There isn't a whole lot of checking what is LEAVING a port in a container.
Most high dollar cars that are stolen end up over there... I'm sure bikes are no different.

i hate when people ask me what something costs. happens all the time. something like this. nice car what do they get for that. that bike is sweet what does something like that go for. havnt found a good comeback for it. the price is what it costs or something.
I was told that my RS-Taichi gear isn't worthy of Ducati.
I mean seriously, is anything?
I guess Dainese is the only thing
not a stupid story, just think it's amusing:
Prius driver: what is the MPG you get out of that (Duc)?
me: around 30
Prius driver: i almost double that, son!
we both had a good laugh!
Everything's a trade-off! You traded gas milage for awesomeness, and he traded awesomeness for gas milage!

Damn guys, I guess my tailor made AHRS leathers from Indonesia don't count for my 999S either
Any 'unworthy' Arai or Shoei lids out there ... anyone, anyone?
I have some track day photos in my office and at home and there is always someone who says "your crazy - that is so dangerous"
Then I have to tell them I am on a track with experienced riders who understand safety and respect each other vs. being on the street with a bunch of nimrods fixing their hair or texting. I much rather be on the track going balls out rather then doing 35 in traffic.
They still look at me like I'm crazy
They'll never get it
