Technically, yes. But Crimea and parts of Donetsk, Kharkiv, Kherson, Luhansk, Mykolayiv, and Zaporizhzhya Oblasts are now 'Russified', so I guess we could also call it 'recapturing lost territory' after that part of Historic RUSSIA was sliced off into it's own little enclave of a country. What does "Ukraine" mean in Russian? I'm sure you know. 😁

By this logic, the UK, France, and Spain should be able to “recapture lost territory” by invading the US. Actually, the US gov’t should relinquish power to the Native Americans since they were here first. It’s called a slippery slope for a reason… Ukraine was peacefully split off from the Soviet Union and if Ukraine want to be a sovereign nation, more power to them especially if it means making Putin look weak.

My family members and their friends that live in Zaporizhzhya certainly don’t feel like they have been liberated. They have been occupied by force and my son’s grandmother has had to watch tanks rolling through her city.

It’s hardly little either.
 
And if the Ukrainian forces had not been shelling and making war upon the indigenous Russian speaking population of those regions for 7-8 years would this have ever happened? Go back to the root cause. it would have been so easy to avoid all of this. So easy to go for a Truce and make peace in February-May of 2022, so easy to just get along. The Azov contingents and their allies pushed when they should have settled. This won't end until they do. I don't like it, but in the brutal calculus of War, someone has to be defeated for a semblance of Order to come out of it. you stop Wars by putting down the weapons. The US and UK just upped the ante with Storm Shadows and Atacms hitting inside Russia. What's next?

Speaking of getting away from the Rabbit Hole. Anyone have any hints on stretching out new riding boots. Just got a new pair, been trying to wear them in, but they are really tight in the ankles and outside balls of my feet. I think they are breaking ME in, rather than vice versa.

The thing is, Biden brought down inflation faster than any other country
- I live in a major city but I don’t see any massive gangs taking over it. Though, I think the Bloods or Crips could run a better city

Your idea that Biden brought down, rather than was the instigating cause of our shockingly crippling inflation, is so far out of touch with Reality, I can never take another thing you say seriously. Not at all. That, surprisingly, is a little disappointing. Regardless, you are happy with the direction the country was going and you voted the way you voted. Fair enough.

You saying so means nothing. What’s your reason behind Biden worsening inflation and what was the alternative?
 
Everyone does realize if Trumps tariff plan goes through, Ducatis will be 10-20% more expensive than they already are??? I mean we're complaining that the 25 V4S is expensive. With Trump's tariffs, that $34k bike will be $39k. It's not just new bikes but also any part needed for maintenance. That Motul 300V, 10-20% more. Tires, 10-20% more. Filters, 10-20% more.
