Good Question George !

Well its obviously someone from NY George. Looked thru the blurry photos and cant seem to figure out where 20k in "upgrades" come from! And who in their right mind would pay 8k for BSt wheels!

If there is 20k in this bike then mine is triple that - maybe I should list it on eBay like that. :D

The bike has (from the photos):

DP levers
DP Clutch cover
DP Rear fender
DP race header
DP race seat
BST wheels
BT CF carbon rotors F + R
pads for the rotors
mirror deletes
Bar ends with signals
tinted screen

chicken strips (free)…..

LMAO. Not me personally. Saw the rotors but I just looked on BST site and they dont even make rotors! Unsure what brand those are.Still looking for a place that sells chicken strips too.

Dump all that time and money into the bike to attain a superbeast and then sell it before the first service??? WTF ..... does this?

rotors on that 1199

At closer look, these CF rotors and pads are Brake Tech ("BT"), and Bellisimoto sells them in the Panigale Parts section, along with the pads.

Actually those don't look like Braketech carriers/rotors. They look like Sicom rotors/carriers. . . I don't believe Braketech ever released a 330mm for the Panigale, though the 320mm will work without spacers. .

That being said, I think Bellissimoto carries the Sicom brakes as well, and still pretty funny since they were probably purchased from them. . .. So the wheels/rotors total about 7-8k alone in that bike.. . How does triple that amount now sound ? I'd love to see the build list to get to 60k now - I doubt you'd get to triple the 8K to 24k. . . . . .

devilsnight - don't use that link. Its the Sicom rotors as I thought. Here is a link from their site http://www.bellissimoto.com/SicomBrakes.html

Ebay bibber "t***a( 19)" is probably the Seller bidding on his own auction"¦..FYI

George

doubtful on that one. . . If that were the case, he probably should have used the 19 positive feedback user to post the auction and the 5 reponse one to bid with. . Also, the two bidders don't have any cross bidding between the two of them. Certainly possible to hide this easily, but I wouldn't necessarily jump to that conclusion. . besides 18-19k is certainly more than reasonable for a 500 miles Panigale Tri with those upgrades. If it was me - I'd say this bike is worth around 25k. Because you strip some of those expensive upgrades out, the bike is ~20K. Those separate upgrades would fetch 4-5K easily.

That is if it's even a real auction. I have been told that the local Ducati dealer offered him $15,000 for the bike w/o the wheels and rotors……….

for a 500 mile Tri - I would say thats on the low side assuming nothing is wrong (no damage, etc). .. The one's I see transferring right now are somewhere around 20-22K (private or buying from dealers). Dealers are willing to buy them since there aren't that many of them. Obviously they're going to try and get the best deal they can - but I imagine there are some dealers that will pay more than 15K for a tricolor w/500 miles. Not much more mind you - but still more. . .

I think you'll agree that private sale, a tri with 500 miles is probably around 20k ?

Hell for 15K, I'd buy a Tri to beat around the track :). . .
