I was just out in the desert turning laps at Chuckwalla for the first time, great. experience really fun track, VERY different from what I am used to. Lots of long radius turns that really require a riding adjustment for me, also tricky place to find // pick out markers as there is nothing on the side of the track ha! Super fun and I can't wait to go back next month.

Maybe it’s because I learned to ride out here but I’m much better on the large radius turns than technical slower tight radius curves

2022 is upon us.
I did get some days in out a Chuckwalla, but was back out at jersey first ccs weekend, unfortunately radiator took a hit 3rd session so no racing for me. Going to ditch H20 Galletto rad for Febur. H20 will be repaired then posted up on here for sale soon, I also have some other bits that will go up. Some pics from Austin also. enjoy

Nice pics man, looks like fun.

tell me about this switch of radiators?

why the switch?

Well let me back up by saying I have had no issues withe H20 rad. But it caught a stone in the left hand vertical fin. The whole rad facing has a protective grill on it the vert fin sections do not. While this isn't too likely for a rad to take a hit there that is what happened. The febur doesn't have this vert fins its more standard rad design so in theory should hold up better.

Man that just seems like bad luck, I think you could go years of track days and never catch a rock there, But the one time you do I can see how it would piss you off because that’s ending a track day and if you traveled a good Waze man that would suck

What it comes down to is, Febur has no exposed areas and is used by wsbk teams. Should be great

yeah looked at both, H20 ‘seemed’ better engineered for outright cooling, but maybe it’s not as durable?

Finally got the bike back out, big geometry changes as well as the new radiator. Bike was feeling the best it has, took a step back from even looking at lap times and focused on moving around the big bike in different ways which felt really good. NYST has a lot of elevation so front was pushing a bit in 6 + 12 but all in all felt very good

Dig the exit of wheelie hill pic, easy to make good pictures there but scary as hell to try and put down full throttle ASAP, your brake foot lowered and throttle hand positive makes for huge drive and controls the nose to make T8. 3 out of 5 tries I mess that up and bungle T8-10, but the two times I make it are adrenalin producing x10.

Dude, awesome pics. Bike looks fantastic. You look faster every time you throw something up. How did the Febur swap go?

That’s it!

im painting my bike black and ordering a black Dainese so I can look as kool as KarlKani

There, now I’m exactly the same hahaha

well, except for that knee down and fast thing, I mean I look more like an old geezer out doing a Ducati parade around the track, but other than that EXACTLY THE SAME!

Steven, if I send you a few pics of my bike, could you photoshop the body work for me? Just want to see what a few different colour options may look like.
