I was just out in the desert turning laps at Chuckwalla for the first time, great. experience really fun track, VERY different from what I am used to. Lots of long radius turns that really require a riding adjustment for me, also tricky place to find // pick out markers as there is nothing on the side of the track ha! Super fun and I can't wait to go back next month.
Nice pics man, looks like fun.
tell me about this switch of radiators?
why the switch?
Man that just seems like bad luck, I think you could go years of track days and never catch a rock there, But the one time you do I can see how it would piss you off because that’s ending a track day and if you traveled a good Waze man that would suckWell let me back up by saying I have had no issues withe H20 rad. But it caught a stone in the left hand vertical fin. The whole rad facing has a protective grill on it the vert fin sections do not. While this isn't too likely for a rad to take a hit there that is what happened. The febur doesn't have this vert fins its more standard rad design so in theory should hold up better.
What it comes down to is, Febur has no exposed areas and is used by wsbk teams. Should be great
