Cost to power/weight thing we were talking about:
Short answer GP21 has 234 to +250hp with $4million build cost @ 346.1 lbs.dry weight
Anyway,
KarlKani, if you find 300hp in all your mods and you don't go faster than Miller, then we're all going to razz you endlessly.
No pressure. ;P
However if you find 300hp with less than $7figures you will be our mods-king and we will buy your signed books.
No pressure.
The googles say, "

234
hp with full racing exhaust Power · 87.7 lb-ft with full racing exhaust Torque · 152.2 kg (335.5 lb) with racing kit Dry weight."
Each prototype will vary of corse.
Ducati.com GP21 Tech Specs section says, "Over 250" whatever that is. That's prolly considered strategic info. For sure go fast has a lot to do with all that finesse that is going around curves with that power. But ya, it's endlessly fascinating to nerd out on the tech specs.
Money Inc has an article on the price of the 2020 bikes:
"A MotoGP 1000 cc $4 million. The engine parts alone are $425,000 with $25,000 in valuable parts, $15,000 for the tires, a range between $25,000 to $100,000 for the accident cost." This does not cover R&D costs which is usually billed to "Marketing" with its typical fuzzy budget.
