Stock V4 vs motogp bike only 2 seconds

That seems spurious.

Never liked the dead Kennedy’s

For my “political-core” always way more into Born Against, Econochrist, and Propagandhi.

It's pretty obvious why Don is on here he has nothing going on in life, no bike, no project and just a .... load of meaningless ..... Pretty embarrassing to this board and what it used to be. It's beyond repairable and all it took was a couple tool ..... like Don and DucatiKev.

How the hell would you know what I do or do not have?

I am trying not to be sarcastic

Maybe you will stop with the nonsense?

Damn Karl

Still hurting from your thoughts on the Smut Peddlers but you are starting to grow on me

You might actually be alright after all : )

That recent post on the V4S being 2s off the GP bikes, was the track damp? Always brings things closer together. And makes the bike that Ducati actually sell, look pretty good

It said slightly damp but come on man

Jonathan Rea’s best is 138 1/4 there

The race lap record is 139 n change

143 on slightly damp track?

on a stock street bike?

Super sick : )

There's the bike comparisons that usually drive a lot of branding congecture without taking into account the pilot. Same guy, same hour, doing laps on different bikes with same familiarity is getting a little more like a real comparison. But this one, taking from some top racers, ok I'll take it. It's getting onto a more fair comparison.

Ya, that little bit there is a huge factor. Porosity in AL casting necessitates much larger wall thickness adding weight and randomness in wear. Hand made from billet AL is on another planet of goodness for those parts. Then it all adds up to more control over weight distribution etc.

...
The main difference between motogp engine and road engine is pneumatic valves and the crankcases are milled from billet not cast. ...

Agreed. With the exception of a few songs here and there, everything after “Less Talk...” is no good. I have this deep spot in my heart for Prop - was my first punk rock show in 94/95. They got naked during their set.

Agreed. A stock v4 being 2 seconds off a Moto gp bike in a heads up comparison??

I don’t buy it.

Don’t get me wrong - I’m sure Ducati’s ceo is an unbiased source. ;)

Yeah the CEO Claudio he is all over the map and has run the show into the ground indefinetely.

.... this is the only thread on here that Don has not brought back to life right up your

With stock suspension and stock brakes!

Where does a stock R with a pipe come in compared to moto GP’s min 157k?????

That’s almost a sucked up stripper!

What would happen to lap times if ya threw one of those on the back of a moto GP bike?

That’s not even considering how much of the weight is stuff that spins : )

Hey KarlKani, great to find this post! I started modding my new V4 R last December and seems like I’m using a lot of the same parts!

Have you ever got the thumb brake mounted? I got the same triple and thumb brake and am wondering how to make the thumb brake work. Searched around on the forum and found one guy attempted on a V4 and gave up: Thumb rear brake for a v4

This looks relatively plug and play....

They
also have a race kit that probably lends itself more to race controls/clip-ons

yeah I am not sure if I am goign to end up using it. My kit came with the fork + bar mount - but if it jams up the left side too much I might not bother with it
