What a build!!!
What was the solution for the BDS axle? I ordered one and should be here any day. Wondering what I need to do to get it on.

You just need to shave off a few from the ID of the cone spacer

The BDS rear ti axle will drop right in the only issues that can possibly be a problem which I had ran into early on was on the wheel side the large wheel will not go on far enough to install the safety clip. I had to machine .015-.020 off the face of Podium ti cone nut but if you use another vendor or stock cone might be ok.

The particular issue is a slight tolerance deviation in the newer axles where the diameter of the axle (wheel side) is just a hare large not allowing the cone to slide easily in place. It is more of a press fit and can be driven in place with the nut but would be a bit difficult to remove. Solution as was stated is to take a small pass at the ID of the cone. It’s so slight you could do it with abrasive paper. Not a big deal

Stock axle measures 48.88. BDS measures 49.03. Also for you guys running these things make sure you use a proper anti seize compound on the bearing surfaces. Ti doesn’t fair well against hardened steed and the load side of the axle (flange side) will at some point start to wear from contact with the hardened steel bearing race. Keep an eye on it if you put a lot of miles on it.

My bds axle bolted right up, but I am using an aella cone. Endodoc is right, I ran my axle only last track season and noticed some wear on the axle when I pulled it this winter.

I came back to looked at this 3 times today. I had a moment.

Hey Karl, you have an excellent bike and this is an excellent thread!

Can you explain how did it go with I2M dash ? I bought one off Superbike the other day, version 2. Was install plug and play as they say ?

Bike is mostly sorted and started to get out on track with it. Still some small things to get sorted and unfortunately I had a silly accident that ended up with me laid up for a while. Should be back on track next month, and begetting things very dialed. Everyday I was out April may was .... weather and pushing things that were too soon to be trying sort out, but hey in hindsight will be good by June.

Dash is great but also challenging. They just now released new software that should have actual V4R settings now. Previously it’s only had V4 settings that aren’t amazing. The biggest issue right now is that the Launch control is not working for me yet but everything else is mostly good, I will update you once I get the new software update next week.

My main issue is I have been having qs and downshift issues. Oem qs wasn’t working above 12k which was a struggle to figure out at first. At first linkeage hitting swings arm and I thought this was what was causing problem. I fixed that but then was still having upshifting at hi rpm. I swapped out to Translogic shifter and was shifting perfectly on dyno but they wasn’t downshifting correctly on dyno. Last day on track I tested out in parking lot first thing in the morning, it was 50 deg and wet out. I went out hit 2nd gear then downshifted down to first and got on the brakes just in the lot. No gear on and lost the front - what a stupid decision. So took a spill and have been dealing with it sense even tho bike is fine and I believe down shifting not problem.
