Race prolly does not have buttons on the back side : )

No brights/blinkers/horn required

+1 on the horns.
Why would you prefer thumb breaking? Better reach or also precision, or? Have you tried it yet?
I haven't been super intrigued by it, though curious.

I was not going to post on this thread anymore but in the spirit of what this place is all about here is an update. Bike is should be done next week, might be doing laps as soon as the 4-10/11 - weather dependent.

Loads of small hurdles as one would expect with this much change. I will give brief desc incase anyone else is looking to do any of this - if you are PM me for more detailed info
-Billet corse rears brackets - will not work with standard R swingarm pivot
-Temp sensor fitment issue on cooling line of H20 Galletto Rad
-BSD left hand button pod will not work with I2M Chrome Pro 2, subsequently I2M left hand but pod not exactly P&P as described
-BDS ti axle has some fitment issues with wheel spacer
-Evol tech billet brake carrier will not work with Akra - left hand silencer has contact with chainline

My vote is to keep it going. One of the reasons I signed up for this board was to see how people have improved their bikes and to learn about these bikes. This winter project you have is pretty cool to follow.

For sure keep it going
One of the few good threads on the forum right now!

Agreed. This is an excellent thread.

@KarlKani why would you consider killing it?

Could not blame KarlKani on wanting to kill it when you have ..... ..... like Don14 (dumpsterfuck) bashing and shitting on every thread here. I and a few others have recent builds are now complete but its gonna continue to be held off.

Some forums have an “ignore” feature. If this one does, you can put someone on ignore and you won’t even see their posts.

Agree 100%
Mick just apply this and go ahead document your build! I myself and many others here want to learn and just appreciate what others are able to do in hopes some day we can do it ourselves!

That’s the only way I feel this forum would start getting traction on the right direction and get better!

Definitely keep the updates coming. Thanks so much for sharing the hurdles you find. Those pieces of info are gold for guys trying to build up bikes. Racing is already a money fire and learning from others helps keep some cash for the tire fund. Please keep sharing what works and what doesn’t with the rest of us. Thanks again.

What a build!!!
What was the solution for the BDS axle? I ordered one and should be here any day. Wondering what I need to do to get it on.
