No idea what that means, or where it came from - I saw it, I bought it. :)

i know it's not always easy to wrap one's head around some basic financial concept$.

glad you bought your Pani all-cash -- the best way to buy!

I"m just reading this thread for the first time, and have some comments....

> The guy is just proud to be a Panigale owner at such a young age. Nothing wrong with that. Did it come off a little wrong for him to sound like he's bragging or being a slight bit immature? Well, I'm not so sure, but at 20 or 21 years old if that's the biggest mistake he makes on a forum he's my new hero.

> People responded that to own a Panigale his Mommy and Daddy must be spoiling him (my words for what others said). Think about it though. If you saw a kid his age driving a $19,000 car you would congratulate him for being so frugal.

> I am a little pissed that he did not start a thread asking who is the oldest Panigale owner. Yeah, I know I'm not the oldest - I saw the post on the 85 year old. But I MIGHT be in the running for oldest on this forum. Then I could act immature for a few minutes.

My kids are my beneficiaries and my youngest is 14, could be the youngest if my wife decides to off me in my sleep

Using that method won't work as my youngest is 30.

I wonder who the oldest is. I might be able to compete in that class.

I understand where he was coming from I just think perhaps the delivery was a little arrogant. Congrats on owning such a cool bike at that age.

I can surely identify, Im only 23 by the way.

The bottom line is we are all enthusiast and we all love this bike. Bro hug*

Dude, I thought you were gonna say 13:eek:

Haha 13 for the model year of the bike. Although I wouldn't be surprised if someone said that. Everything always turns into a pissing contest with us guys.

The mistake made (and the revealing circumstance here) was when, after his self-congratulations, he was essentially greeted with "So what?". It was his reponse to THAT which sent the thread spiraling out of control and confirming to some that their initial judgement may have been correct.

Sure. Congrats to him he pulled off buying a $20k M/C at a young age. Now lets see/hear that he has the demonstrable maturity to handle it.

if you are NOT a debt slave (credit card, STUDENT LOANS, car and MC LOANS, mortgages, med bills, etc.) and your Pani value constitutes less than 2% of your savings and investments, plus you have excellent health insurance plan (just in case heh) then you are doing really well AT ANY AGE.

Everything else is feeding the beast of financial ponzi rigged markets and TBTF taxpayer bailed out destructive banking institutions and central planners.

how's that for person, youngest or not, to own an 1199?

You could ruin a wet dream.

i prefer getting laid to waking up alone, wet and messy. you?

what's up lance? you still riding that MV? how's your leg feeling?

I'm old. Alone, wet and messy is fine!:D
Turned in MV for a Panipooft last summer. Leg sucks, shoulder sucks worse!

Ummmm, who are you??

Perhaps you should learn where the Shift key is located before operating one of the most powerful production motorcycles on the market.

YEAH THE SHIFT KEY PLAYS A LARGE ROLE IN OPERATING A PANIGALE! I'D RATHER USE THE CAPS LOCK ITS MUCH BETTER. Got to love people who correct grammar on motorcycle forums. Nice life!

Hey man enjoy the bike and ride safe! Doesn't matter what anyone thinks. Enjoy the good times, enjoy the hordes of women and most of all ride safe and don't do stupid things. Goto the track and do stupid things.

Wish I had one at twenty.
