Hey guys, I'm just wondering, who is the richest person to own an 1199 here??? I know for fact that I am the richest at my dealer, maybe even province.

Is that why you picked littlejohn for your username? ;)

Aaah.. shucks, you must've been looking last time we were in the urinals..

Its not the length
It's not the size..
It's how many times you can make it rise..:D

Truth be told.. I have no doubt that Frosty has the biggest ...... His knowledge and expertise with blue waffles betray his past liaisons.;)

LDucati ,
Congrats on the bike ! I would have killed for a Duc at your age ! But , I had to settle for a GSX-R 750. Still a fun bike. I'm getting my Base from Melillimoto to. Did the paperwork yesterday , and will pick it up in a few days. Can't wait ! Add me to your list for a central FL. ride ! I'm 40 yrs old now , and pretty much ride like a puss. But , I'd love to go for a group Duc ride ! Don't worry about the few idiots on this forum , most of the guys on here seem pretty cool. Take it easy , and enjoy that bad-... bike !

I would also be interested in a group Duc ride for the central florida owners. i'm out Orange City.

Hahahahahaha :D

I was 3 when my dad built me one of those lawnmower powered mini bikes with no suspension and just a front brake. Someone should post their 1199 next to their first bike and be done with this thread.

..... or maybe stick it on the notice board at school :)

Joking, bro sorry I couldn't resist :p:p

That's was a good one, made me laugh. Sucks however that most people at my school either don't know how to ride properly or just ride around with no helmet and gear.

Really make you laugh, local law states that riders must wear a helmet, but it doesn't stipulate where it must be worn on the riders body.

...... consequently, we see a lot of guys riding Busa's with highly protected elbows

Ha, classic. I see a lot of people down here in S.America just partially put them on their heads, so they have full face helmets on their heads like baseball caps. Think of admiral ackbar from Star Wars and you'll get an idea of what they look like when they do this.

I'm going to buy the bike in spring 2013 and I will be 31 by then.
But I feel like 19 so I guess that makes me the youngest owner... not.

Who cares, I'm just looking forward to own this great bike and have fun with my friends (I don't know if they are the youngest to own their kind of bike and I don't care).

But congratulations to all the young ones who are able to buy this great bike at their age! Drive save and enjoy it!
