Youngest person to own an 1199???

Kind of brought this on to yourself by starting this thread. But that is ok because at your age we all made mistakes in judgement. So perhaps judgement is important in riding and staying alive?
At 20 this bike and many like it would have been a death certificate for me. I had a Kawi 400 ltd. and still managed to brake .....

Oh, forgot to mention that we have awesome mountain roads unlike FL :D
You'll like them ;)

Now you are just teasing me lol. Who knows maybe when the motogp track ever gets finished in Texas I might take a quick stop in NM when I eventually visit it to see a motogp race live.

Corse and frosty are just jealous they didn't have something like an 1199 when they were young. You figure with age they would be mature enough to not get all butt hurt a 20 year old has the same toys they do at 30+...

I'm 28 bro. But when I was 20, I wasn't posting questions on Porsche forums asking if I was the youngest one with a 911 Turbo...;)

@Xbox like I said before if you think this is a waste then why did you click on the thread to read it lol. Apparently you were interested. Call this what you want, but you don't see me blabbing how I got a tricolor

Priceless, accusations of "blabbing" from someone that starts a thread about his age

I take back my initial pot-stirring comments - I Love this thread :D:D

Every once in a while, we need to take a break from the informative and interesting stuff, similarly, the eye-candy threads.

Good work LDucati 1199S :p

@Frosty I dont own a 1199S. I have plenty of years of experience all the way down from 13 years old. And as you see from the pics i can assure that i can take twisties and also ride on a track. Florida isnt all flat and straight. Stop assuming things. Who the hell are you to tell me what i can and cant have, yeah a rabbit with a blue waffle hahaha.

Do you even own the bike???

Did frosty ever answer this question ?

Fair play if you own the pani at such at young age good work fella:D

lol, give the kid a break, dont let any kind of discrimination (age included) ruin the riders connection, i only show up in a group where there all kind of bikes, people, ages and all we talk about is bike and how we can improve our skill, not "did your dad buy you that bike" or "you dont own a Duc, you are in the wrong place"...
cheer!

I know that's what shocked me the most, the discrimination on here. You would think with age most people would mature some day, apparently not.

Dude, don't make it out like its everyone else's problem with you, that just isn't how it is.

I see you have edited your initial post, so I can't re-read your original words, but something obviously came across in a way that generated some responses that you didn't like.

No matter. Just enjoy your bike and keep in rubber side down.

Thank you big rocky and duckyduc for understanding.

Whats there to understand...youre a Motorbike rider...nuff said, BUT if you are going to put up a thread about how young you are and what a big bike you are riding then expect to cop it on the chin.

Sit around a campfire with a few older riders and say what you say and see what happens:D

I think the thread itself is easily to be misunderstood as a lack of maturity by applying the combination of owning a "valuable" motorcycle at a certain age and starting the discussion about that.

keep  my friends, the bike's hot enough!!!
