I'm an old man...just turned 31. And I thought I was the young baller on here - lol
No I have owned a 2007 gsxr 750 and an 09 Yamaha R1. Soulrider you might have seen my 09 R1 at Melillimoto I traded it in for the 1199.
If you can afford the bike, fair play to you, however, I am in agreement with one of the earlier posts, this is really just an attention seeking thread for one person.
I am probably missing a point here but I cannot see why is it important to know if someone is the youngest?
It has no more merit than largest, thinest, richest, poorest, whitest, blackest, yellowest, greenest, most hung, least hung etc owner.
If one wants to say hey, I just have my 1199, great, on this forum that is something to celebrate, I really could not care about the circumstances surrounding it.
As we say in England: JRTFT (just ride the f$%"ing thing)
Just my irrelevant thoughts
Dude your one up in my books.
Most kids your age are buying Busa's and riding around without helmets in Florida.
No offense, but I live here. Florida roads in general stink. I moved here for quality of life and diving.
I plan on taking mine on the auto train out of Sanford to Virginia, and riding the mountains on the weekends.
Thanks Soulrider. Yes thank god i was guided properly. That auto train sounds like a great idea to go up to the dragons tail. If you live in central florida area you should look into routes such as the sugarloft mountain and Ocala area by Sebastian. I also had a great time in Brandton Florida riding through the orange fields but its a long ride to get there and if you run out of gas like i almost did you are screwed.
I lived in the mountains most of my life. The Dragon is where I had my bachelor party.
I've ridden most of the "so called" good roads in the area. Not impressed. Infact I sold my race/track bikes, and my street rides after moving down here. However the itch was just too great. I have to be on two wheels even if it is Florida.
We have a large contingent from our area on the board. I asked the admin to setup a rides section. I'd imagine we could easily get 4-5 Panigale's from area on a ride.
This post proves my point. And only noobs leave their plates on at the track.
Did you look at my pics of me on the R1 at the track, NO PLATES. But for you Frosty i would make an exception just so you can see that under 21 plate
Have to agree with Phil, I read it as a matter of pride....nothing wrong with that and good for you!!!
