How to replace rear brake pads on an 1199

I'm about to take on the job of replacing the rear brake pads on my 1199. Does anybody have any tips? It looks like it would be easier to accomplish with the wheel off, which is easy to do.

Rear Brake sensor - fully retracted.

The little pin has retracted into its housing and I cant see a way of freeing it. Any thoughts ? Looks like my return nut that hits the sensor didnt allow enough space and has pushed the pin into the housing too far.

When ABS is in "SPORT", does ABS auto give rear brake when front lever is pulled?

So I read somewhere that when I use the front brake lever the ABS automatically gives a little rear brake on its own. Did I dream this or is correct?? Anyone use the rear brake ever anyways? I used to tons on my track bike Triumph 675 but not so much on this Pani. Thanks....

    A New Rear Brake Caliper

Added the Brembo Nichel Cafè Racer Axial Rear Caliper to my bike to compliment my GP4 RX front Calipers. My impressions of these calipers is that it has outstanding feel with great stopping power. It works well with the old OEM Rear master so there is no reason for me to change it out...

    Rear brake dragging?

When I'm out riding and I stop for gas, I can't help but notice how my rear brake rotor feels much hotter than my fronts even though I use the fronts 100x more. Although there's nothing perceptible at the moment in terms of noise or damage, I'm wondering if the rear is dragging just enough...

My brake lever is trolling me,air in system?

I just recently removed and reinstalled my wheels. I did NOT undo any brake lines. I did unbolt the calipers to remove the front wheel. My friend at one point squeezed my levers acting like she was riding the bike. So I had to push back the pistons with a flat head. Fast forward...

    Brake light switch question

Installed lightech rearsets today and have a question about wiring the switch, I understand the gist of it but wonder if there is a specific way to splice into the brake light switch (does polarity matter) or is there some other trick to it. Thanks

    Racers - Brake Pad Recommendations?

Hey guys, I am currently using EBC HH pads on my Racebike and they're warped. I've heard that's just what they do. Any suggestions on a race pad that won't warp immediately? What do you use? Thanks.

    Front brake line

Did anybody split the front bake line? Now the line goes first in one caliper and then in the other, I'm wondering if we can have even a better response of the front brake running 2 separate line from the brake pump? Thanks
