You can go measured dyno your bike. That it smell gas doesn't mean something. You didn't give him data unless your nose have some special superhero ability.
he didn't ask for data, and after working on cars and bikes for 35 years, I do have a superhero nose. The bike couldn't Idle, and you don't need a superhero nose for that.

Chriss I met you briefly in person, you seem like a nice enough guy, and god knows we all gotta make a living in life, I don’t hold that against anybody.

But you mentioned you work in sales, I’m assuming you have some skin in the game with BT with both of you in the same part of the world and by how much you schill for them.

Again, I would never judge somebody for doing what they have to to take care of their family.

BUT…you gotta know that at this forum, too many of us have had REAL LIFE bad experiences with BT…and it’s not just the Ducati guys, other forums for other bike manufacturers are littered with similar stories about BT tunes being junk and messing up their bikes. They have an extremely bad rep across the motorcycle world with everyone who actually knows their bikes. i.e. not the noobs that believe their marketing pitch but have nothing to compare to.

There are better ways in life to make money in sales and marketing than selling snake oil brother. And make no mistake. The BT tunes are snake oil.

Don’t be a snake oil salesman. There are better ways to make a lot more money.

Who are you? I am working in sales? You are a big scam...

Who are you? I am working in sales? You are a big scam...
if you work for Bt Moto or you had a good experience with them that is fine. I didn't. bike is 2025 less than 50 miles on it and with Bt tune did not Idle. put the up map T800 on it and works fine. I don't care what HP the bike puts out at the top. most riders don't even come close to that, with the tracks we have here I don't even go more than 150MPH. the purpose of putting a tune on the bike is to have a smooth throttle band. with aftermarket Exhaust.

Umm…you came to my house to buy parts for your bike lol

And said you worked in sales.

Anyway, not interested in drama, if somebody is silly enough to not read the reviews of BT moto tunes, and instead go with the ONE outlier that likes them then that’s on them.

Where are you from Steven. I didn't buy anything second hand for my ducati. Please stop the nonsense. I come from Greece.

So you tune your bike before you even do the brake in period. And you trusted upmap t800 that no one uses. If you don't need the power you could buy a v2

We get it, dude. You're going to argue with anyone who tries to disparage BT and their tunes.

I highly doubt you're going to change anyone's mind with your comments and, if I had to guess, will actually drive some people away. People are going to vote with their dollar and, from what I can see, BT will solicit people who have no idea what they're getting or have shills like you who are firmly swinging from their sack and singing their praises when you don't have your mouth full.

Until someone from BT chimes in and addresses all of the grievances posted in regard to their tunes, my money will go to Deussen.

You don't have arguments. What you say is pointless. And they are really a lot of people posting for BT. I don't see so many for any other.

My 2c despite no experience with either ;)
Buying a canned tune that does not come from the bike manufactuer and using it as the final tune is stupid. IF you buy a canned tune for your bike (BT, Deusden, Termi, Arrow or whatever) follow it up with a custom tune from a good tuner base on YOUR bike on a dyno. This way you get the results YOU want based on YOUR bikes characteristics/mods. My criteria for a tune is not the same as someone elses...ex. I like a direct but smooth initial throttle respons, no jerkin when maintaining throttle in a corner and lower power/agressive for a given throttle in first, second (and third for some bikes) gear. I also like less engine braking in 1-3 gear compared to 4-6.

Thank you. That is correct. As with my older bikes, I always used Woolich tuning software with logging and had the best tune on the bike, even better than a dyno tune. As a dyno tune does not simulate Ram air in the bike, that is the old way, limit the oxygen sensors and use the bike as an open loop. The new tuning, which is been done in cars for many years, and is being transferred to the bike, is different now, keeping the bike in close loop and changing the target Air/fuel ratio differently.
So, due to the bike being new and I don't have Woolich software for this bike as of yet, and putting an aftermarket Exhaust on it, I had to rely on an available tune so the bike won't run lean.
Problem with BT moto tune is lack of knowledge of the people that work there, most likely they get their tune from another source, and they just sell it.
So when there is a problem, they have no idea how to fix it.
I got SLR tune for the bike and talked to Frank before I purchased it. He did explain how the tune works and what is being changed, and what needs to be done to the bike to get the tune program in to the bike. like clearing Adaptions, disabling the BBS system before flashing, and so on.
And now the bike is running well. I highly recommend SLR tune over BT if anyone is thinking of getting a tune as a so-called Canned tune.

Thanks for the recommending SLR, the procedure looks to be the same as BT, but I do like their prices. Doing some research on SLR at the moment.

Woolich, from what I've been able to find so far, generally don't crack recent Ducati bikes. You might want to check out the T800 upmap and tuning system
