Thank you. That is correct. As with my older bikes, I always used Woolich tuning software with logging and had the best tune on the bike, even better than a dyno tune. As a dyno tune does not simulate Ram air in the bike, that is the old way, limit the oxygen sensors and use the bike as an open loop. The new tuning, which is been done in cars for many years, and is being transferred to the bike, is different now, keeping the bike in close loop and changing the target Air/fuel ratio differently.
So, due to the bike being new and I don't have Woolich software for this bike as of yet, and putting an aftermarket Exhaust on it, I had to rely on an available tune so the bike won't run lean.
Problem with BT moto tune is lack of knowledge of the people that work there, most likely they get their tune from another source, and they just sell it.
So when there is a problem, they have no idea how to fix it.
I got SLR tune for the bike and talked to Frank before I purchased it. He did explain how the tune works and what is being changed, and what needs to be done to the bike to get the tune program in to the bike. like clearing Adaptions, disabling the BBS system before flashing, and so on.
And now the bike is running well. I highly recommend SLR tune over BT if anyone is thinking of getting a tune as a so-called Canned tune.
