Just got my V2 3 weeks ago only 200 miles on it so far. Just wondering why am I capping at 120 mph ?? Is anyone else having this issue??

Lol idk my V4 went on the Dyno b4 first service and gave full power I think. That’s weird, didn’t think pre break in was restricted like that. Put it in race mode and drop DTC DWC down and let’s see if it allows u to blast to 150+

RPM is electronically limited till you reach break in point. That’s probably why
Do you have any literature on the idea that the bike is limited b4 first service? I was sure my V4 was pulling as hard as it could on the Dyno b4 first service but maybe you are right, my bike is running exceptionally well now.
I gotta get it back down to the Dyno but it’s kinda far so I’m waiting till he can tune it and I’ll be sure to get a post first service Dyno run to compare to the tuned power figure.

There definitely were no speed restrictions but maybe the engine was slightly restricted. This bike is now as fun and smooth as my flashed 1299, can’t wait to get this ring tuned.

I’ll try that now I’m bout to hop on
How was it, how many miles on ODO now?
Don’t get hurt fulfilling my radical recommendations... u might like it and never want to ride in sport mode again. The longer u ride it in Race with low interventions, the better you’ll get with it.
I dont buy Ducati’s to leisurely ride around on, except during warm up. I prefer to ride with the settings in fun mode

Bring it to the official Ducati service center at your dealership and work with your service writer. Report back with your findings.

How many miles on your bike now?

All the other V2 owners are scared to go above the posted speed I guess

402 miles now... ima make an Appt with my official Ducati dealer ... cause somethin ain’t right

My 2nd ride on my V2, in Street mode, exceeded your speed without any issues. Wasn’t trying to but it just happened hahaha. There is something definitely not right with your bike

must be nice bro... I need that speed that you got

I would not be concerned about this until after your dealer performs the 600mi service. If after the service, which includes any ECU updates, you still have the issue, bring it to the dealer’s service shop. But I bet this will go away after the bike has its 600mi service.

Sorry for the delay but you’re almost there.

Sorry to hear this about your bike. Hope it does make a difference after your first service. Could it be restricted based on the country you are in?
I didn’t notice any difference after my first service. Maybe no restrictions set for bikes sent here to the States? It would be interesting to hear if anyone else is having the same issue you are, with their V2

Texas Highway 130 has the fastest posted speed limit in the country, 85 mph. 120 seems more than adequate.

TO be fair, in Texas, if you aren't doing 15mph over the speed limit you are in the way and will get honked/yelled at/flipped off/gun waived... we are a ...... up state lol

Agreed though, 120 on the street is quite adequate
