1299 Delivery Times

I just dont get it! Apparently these come in to the US in the northeast, yet no dealer in the NE has these. But they pop up in Florida first. ugh :eek:

It is weird. Just got confirmation here in Ohio that my dealer got 3 S models in yesterday. Unfortunately I ordered base model which he was guessing a couple weeks from now. So it almost seems the S models are hitting the showrooms first.

what dealer? MotOhio?

and yeah I would agree... indy ducati just took their first one in and it was an S as well

ok I was confused for a sec as Motohio just now received a few scramblers.. I was like wait a second!

I've gotten no word on delivery of my S and it's supposedly the first one ordered in Michigan :\

Feels refreshing to get something here in the UK before you guys in America for a change, xbox games, films on DVD etc etc. No offence intended but it is nice ;)

I just put 70 mls on 1299s very nice bike, nice quality. Quick shifter way better than s1000rr 14, so smooth up and down, But But it's not a Beemers Power, I think BMW is stronger , maybe I need to ride for a little more to brake the engine. so far Beemer feels way stronger in the first 900 mls (brake in period),but It does feel like you riding something special and different , sound is very deep and loud at the same time under power than my aftermarket Full
Ti Austin Racing Exaust it's very loud for a stock system, it runs cooler , not as hot as BMW

Just called Frasers. Australia's first batch of the 1299 are "on the water" and expected to be available for customer delivery 10 April.

Hey mate not sure who you spoke to but i gave them a call today they said they are less than a month away so who knows what that means:confused:

Hmmm. I spoke to Frasers again last Tuesday and was told they'd arrived in port in Sydney on Sunday (1 week ago) and would start appearing at dealers late last week. But they still couldn't tell me if my bike (1299S) was in the first batch, so I wasn't inspired with much confidence that they had a great handle on the situation.

Very frustrating as I ordered mine back in the beginning of December and was told early April. Still waiting with no exact due date

The Panigale normally stays cooler longer than most bikes until about riding it for 30 minutes, where everything has heated up. With that said, the latest heat shield must be as good as the Full Termis.

More reviews and photos please !!!

I notice it's hard to retrieve the kickstand with my Sidi boots. I had to do it with my hand :(
I wonder if there wil be an aftermarket kickstand to fix this problem
