That's still debatable .
It's a prototype, it works and did what the intend was. Free up the exhaust at max capacity,
Map calibration from the RB module and feel the performance and drive ability change.
Did it on a sunday and my mig shorted causing the rough welds.
Better looking system, possibly two forward exit mufflers and whatever else is the winter project.
For less than $300 cost I will put it up against any acrapovic slip on.
Any suggestions as to what I can do with the $3500 left from the exhaust fund?
Maybe downpayment for the 2017 V4,VVT.... Panigale?
As an engineer I know a couple of things about R&D.
For the exhaust at least consideration is on the back pressure, tuning paulses, packaging, heat, material, sound quality and compliance, ease of disassembly etc. feedback from marketing and accounting for profitability index, deals with manufacturers and more.
If money and time were no objects I would buy every system available and keep swapping them depending on whatever.
I personally seen you breaking the law speeding down a highway. Lol
Either way, that can be cleaned up to look good easy enough if wanted.
Exhaust design is tricky. Been building street, drag and road race cars for a long time and exhaust design still baffles me.

Yes BrisDuc, the panigale is an Italian beauty. Design and SS arm was the reason I bought it. Read the post and notice words such as "prototype, performance, sound, testing".
When I am satisfied with the performance and sound, I will build a slip on with Inconel 625
TIG welded and carbon fiber muffler/s with turn down tips.
Meanwhile, those NOT interested in performance results can debate which is the best wax
for Ducati's
Which wax makes the panigale faster?
