Is anyone running this setup? I am currently running 14 / 39 with a rexxer ecu flash map along with a mwr filter, its good but not great. I ride mostly around town and most canyon roads I ride are 15 to 25mph tight switchbacks. second gear is still to high a gear for slow speed corners and I hate having to downshift all the way into first for every single slow corner. I'm thinking 14 / 41 will be just what I need, is anyone running this setup and can offer any feedback on experience?
Thanks

according to a few on here the stock gearing is just perfect . i can tell you this from my personal experice the 41 rear is great. you never feel like you are in the wrong gear. thats why they put it on the R. I have it no complaints and when i rode a friends bike with stock gearing i hated it.
the bike should have come this way from the start

Well I went from 15/39 to 15/41 and I like it but I am considering going 14/41...wheelie monster???

I have a 14/41 on mine.....and am contemplating going back to a 15 front. 15/41 is just about perfect.

Is this gearing too short??

You right its very short I run 15 Front 38 Rear with reflashed ECU and im happy. That's me up front.

I've tried it and 14/41 is pretty darn short, IMO. Shifting is a part of life and I've come to accept it.

I temporarily ran 14/41 and found it to be too short for my liking. I am currently running a 15/41 setup, which is much more to my preference.

probably...
go either 15/42 or 14/40

I use 15/42...thats up by 3 from the rear's 39....simply better!!!!
Low speed running is far smoother with demonic acceleration...
Simply perfect for sunday blasts with the boys in the twisties and trackdays...
Decided to go 3 up on the Pani as I dont do topspeed runs anyway, so this set up has been the best for me...

Tried the 41T and it was a big improvement over the stock's 39...but I decided to sell the 41T to a panigale Buddy of mine and went on to the 42T...

So doing a 14 front is just the same equivalent as going +3 at the rear....you should be ok with a -1 front sprocket set up...

I changed to a 15/41 along with fitting the Termi slips. Changes the bike for the better in my opinion.
