Guys on my Speciale it’s saying 18 days in yellow when you start up the bike. I’m guessing it’s a bring it in fir service light but I just changed the oil not long ago. Has anyone come out with a tool that you can plug in and turn the lights off?

Listen my CT friend this been beating already and if u search u find it.Ok if u looking to buy good scanner to do what you intended to do it’s going to cost u probably $3k or more to reset light by dealer cost $100 each time to the time this tool going to pay himself u bike going to have 50000 miles on it.if u don’t use scanners on daily basis it’s not for u.just bring to u local dealer I’m assuming New Haven or Hudson valley

The light is an annual light and nothing to worry about. If you have a good relationship with your dealer they may turn it off for free (It only takes a minute to plug in under the seat).

Yeah its not an issue but like to be able to do all my own stuff. I hate taking my bikes anywhere. I bought a tire machine and balancer 3 years ago and it was the best thing ever. No more waiting for anything and having bikes apart sitting for the dealer to call that they are ready. If I could find a good used scanner for 1500 id buy it! I have 4 Ducati's so it would be worth it for me.

^Yea, my GF has a 2020 V2 Panigale with the Euro 5 plug. I have a 2020 V4S with the Euro 4.

When I ordered her Arrow Slip-ons I was surprised to see a different red colored plug. Kinda half expected the same I guess.

Yeah if this would work I'd buy one for sure. I like being able to do my own work and not having to rely on the dealer to reset the service lights.

I ordered one to turn off that pesky light. Will see how it works.

I was also about to order a device. Now I read that you have ordered one. We don't all have to order a device for testing :-D
Please let us know if it works. Especially Service Reset and VIS.

I have a Texa Navigator Nano S that I use to basically do anything the dealer can do. It offers all the functionality of what Ducati dealerships use (Texa Navigator TXTs) but it's smaller, newer.

https://www.texa.com/products/navigator-nano-s/
All in it's around $2,000 for the device and software + $300 annual subscription that includes service bulletins and manufacturer updates.

I got this specifically to avoid incompetent stealerships.

Here's a video of me using it for the first time to reset my 1k service light.

How/where do I order the Texa tool?

As mentioned, Texa is the answer. They write the factory software for Ducati. I'm running their IDC5 software, using a Navigator and Axone 2.

Cutting Edge Solutions in Louisiana is the distributor for Texa products in the US.

Really? You bought this and works? Only tool from this company who support Ducati is OBDSTAR MS80 and cost $2600. I just got email from them
I bought it and yes it does work. Glad I found a solution for service light reset for a relatively low cost. The device does all other sorts of diagnostics as well, seems to be handy to have around.
