Tuesday, I got a 1st service.

...

IT WAS JUST AMAZING!!!! :D

All the parts are ok and I don't need to worry about the recall.
Oil, filter, and o-rings were changed and the map was reset.
After the service, my Pani feels different and powerful!!

Now, it's time to enjoy 'new' panigale! HAHAHA

ps : they cleaned my pani too! AWESOME!!!

what about the reset of the map ?
is it a new stock map (with stock exhaust) or a racing up map (with termi slip on) or a racing evo up map (with full termi)?

tell me more please about the new feeling!! :)

I think I was confused with 'reset the map'.
Actually, they reset the oil change mileage. Whenever I start, the oil change information(green color) comes on for a seconds and disappears. It tells you the next oil change mileage.

The feeling is little bit aggressive. You can easily get to over than 50 MPH at 3rd gear. Usually I use 4000 rpm with 6th gear, which gives me about 80 MPH. It's great!!! :)

ok!

and what is your exhaust setting? full stock or termi ?

I have a stock one not a termi one. I'm 100% satisfied with it.
(no money for the full termi, actually~ HAHAHA :D)

Did you get 1st break-in?

yes, i have now 4000km with termi slip on only that permit to have 195hp thanks to the up map. i am from France and the stock ecu is 106hp ! :(

but they are to much noisy for me, then i think to put back the stock exhaut but i have to find a 195hp stock ecu...

That's little bit weird for me. You might want to stop by the dealer shop and double check your ECU, just in case.

Bikes in France are limited by Law to 100bhp or their abouts. Not weird just sad for any performance bike.

Wait.......you own a Ducati and say your exhaust is too noisy ?!..........

Im pretty satisfied with my stock exhaust too.

the difference after the first service was amazing, it was great to ride before, but seems like there was a wet sock over the performance that was removed

I feel so sorry for you with a Panigale, detuned to 100hp

This engine is very short stoke, large bore and is an animal in 195hp mode, and the sound is simply angry and awesome. Maybe with it detuned it just does not " sound" right?.

At those HP numbers you would be better off with an 848, sorry to say that. France is crazy to enforce that. So do you get al the different engine maps? I would assume no, and how would the other electronics work? I am intrigued, how it would all work.

Your Termi's should have DB inserts but maybe at 100ho would just make it worse.

Me too? I'm wondering where on earth can you ride this bike past 3rd gear maybe be 4th on the track in a long straight away:rolleyes:

I agree...on the street I rarely go pass 2nd and on the highway rarely pass 4th...it was rumored that we have a 5th and 6th gear :p:D

Yeah, I rarely get above 4th unless I'm going for MPG on the HWY. But seriously, you can get around 140-150 in 4th, I usually back down before having to shift to 5th. I make it to 5th on the track, but that's it.

freeway cruising at 80mph in 6th feels like the bike is going to die. 4th for me, buttery smooth.

i can tell you that 4th gear is as high as I can go on the Freeways in Los Angeles, 3rd is better though

I am yet to have it on the track but so far, the higher gears are not needed
