yeah I refused to take my bike to Reno's, took it down to the Ozarks Ducati and they did a great job...Reno's is my primary dealer, but they've screwed me some

That's interesting, thanks for letting me know. This will be my first time ever with Reno's so I'll have to take a close look at them. Got my bike at Ducati Omaha and I didn't even know about Ozarks. >$300 sounds pretty high compared to the other estimates posted here.

$259 out the door on mine at Monroe Motors. They refused to put in my Shorai lithium battery because the service manager said it will leave me stranded. I guess something with spikes when you hit the ignition switch.

That's the problem....no garage other than Ducati would even have the software. Besides, most Ducati's require specialized tools as well, I wouldn't trust an independent shop with one. It's not a Honda.

Honestly guys....You've bought an exotic Italian motorcycle. If you're complaining about the price of the service then maybe a Hyosung bike would suit you better.

Are Ducatis really "exotic" anymore? I was a 90's biker, too, once. Back in the day, we thought that way, but I'm not sure these days.

I was also warned not to use a Shorai Lithium battery on the Panigale.

Where did you go... I don't wanna take mine there...

Ducati of Austin... they are cool people but, I did voice my concerns with their high price of a service and why it differs so much from everyone else for the exact same work performed by the exact caliber of tech.

Gave me a politically correct answer "why" which I basically understod as "we are the only game in town".

To their credit... I have heard of other dealers charging the $341 I paid... It's just very rare.

£ 75 (USD 110?). No labour costs as they forgot to book the bike in for the suspension set up at the same time.
