Can this make a bike soo much better?

yes and no.

I did the 0.5 degrees in steering head angle Kit swap, i noticed that the turn in on the bike has improved to my liking.

The bike turns in quickly is the best way to describe it, also feels more stable but i did also do some rear suspension changes at the same time

I also completely agree with this. The placebo effect is stronger with motorcycles than probably anything. How many times have we seen somebody say they installed their slip-on, or new air filter, or spark plugs etc and were like "bike is so much better now, huge difference". When in reality, those things might have added 2hp and nobody can feel 2hp when you already have 180hp.

People have to justify purchases, it is human nature. Nobody will spend $25k and then be like "eh, feels the same".

Have to agree, there is sometimes a lack or honesty about mods to justify cost to self. When I fitted my full akra evo system I posted at the time I did not notice any difference other than sound. It was louder. Even the sound I confirmed with some before and after tests I did with a sound meter. Only after further tuning did I notice a seat in the pants difference in performance. Others notice huge gains just from slip ons etc.

The lower swingarm pivot is to increase grip through better antisquat during power on exiting the corner. Highly doubtful that the effect on handling would be noticeable, but yes the tc should trigger less. I agree with Kris99.

How to do this? What is the cost like?

Where from? If from dealer, what should I ask for?

And how did you put it on? Was it a big job?

haven't done it...I googled it and pulled up the Ducati Omaha site.
1199 Panigale 24 Degree Rake Kit | 1199RAKE24

the way I see it, it's only a couple of more steps that re-greasing your steering head bearings...not hard just a bit of time.

I'm going to look into a price locally...which scares me a little

I only pay $65 US shipping to australia (also bought a ohlins spring). just easier to grab it straight from them then try to find it in australia

I have never found the ABS set in the race setting as front only to be nothing but excellent . At most tracks I am about 4 seconds off track record and a B grade road racer on a National level . I consider myself fastish .
Most guys I race with I the Panigale have never done anything different . Do you just turn it off or get rid of it all together ?

That's good to hear, the new ABS on the 1299 now must be better than it was on the 1199/899 for hard track use. I've only ridden a 1299 on the track at a moderate pace, so I retract my comment for anyone who has a 1299 and defer to your expertise! :)

I am old-school when it comes to brakes, so I have preferred to remove it, but I did run it for a while on both my 1199 and 899 before removing it. What I found was much better braking power and feel once it was gone. Even compared to just having it turned off, getting rid of the ABS pump from the loop was very noticeable. On my x99 I have a Brembo billet 19x20 master, and Brembo GP-4RX nickel calipers with SBS Dual Sintered pads. I think I could lay a feather on the lever and get enough braking power for most conditions.

Everyone has different expectations of what they feel comfortable with . I'm not saying my way is correct just making a comment of what I have experienced with the brakes on my bike .
I'm sure the brakes on your bike are sensational .

The Cornering ABS is not active in Race mode, correct?

Wilkson thanks for your comments in this thread (and others). I will keep alot of what you say in mind when I take my 1299 to the track and start to work on the setup.
